It does not take a giant brain in a think tank to figure that the Social Security law should be changed so that EVERYONE pays a tax for the full year- The way the law is now high earners can pay their whole Social Security Tax by the end of January-while lower income people pay for the whole year- The amoount would be chump change to the 6 figure earner and would insure the continuation of the system for everyone- might even get a good Medicare bill out of it-

If my opinion what we pay into social security should go into a savings account and be adjusted based on inflation or some other rational. When the time comes we draw money from it until it is gone. When the money from the account is depleted you are out of luck.
