Just show it doesn't take much to impress some people..Must not have been presented to any Vets to vote on....
The Democrats ran on 'Honesty' and I told 'em at the time they would never get anywhere. It was too radical for politics. The Republicans ran on 'Common Sense' and the returns showed that there were 8 million more people in the United States who had 'Common Sense' enough not to believe that there was 'Honesty' in politics." --Will Rogers
Hi, Nearthesea, I just had the strangest computer problem...As I was browsing the internet, a black and white screen suddenly appeared...as it does when the computer is improperly shut down. The message read, Non System disk or disk error...Replace and strike any key when ready. But every time I typed a key that message was just repeated. After I turned the computer on and off a couple of times if finally started. wheeee...
I think a crash may be near. If I disappear for awhile don't worry. Hahaha!

It's trying to read drive A the floppy and hanging up. You should have made or should make some boot disks and if it happens they will make the computer boot. See Windows help screen for details.

Helen - back up your hard drive! If nothing else, while your are trying to figure out what needs to go on the CD you'll probably find a few dozen lost and long forgotten files and turn it into a sprig cleaning seesion for your computer.

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?

Thanks, dave and fenix!
Looks like I'll be busy this weekend spring cleaning the computer and trying to find out what's wrong. Actually it was a good wake up call -- I had no boot disks or current back up.
'We have dispatched Dr. David Kay...to search for the bio-warfare agents we believe hidden in Senator Kerry's forehead. If Senator Kerry has used botox as part of a wrinkle enrichment program, he is in violation of UN Resolution 752. Upon receiving Dr. Kay's report, the weapons of mass destruction that Senator Kerry so adamantly insists do not exist...may well be above his very nose.'" --Dick Cheney when asked whether John Kerry has had Botox treaments
