ISLAMABAD, Pakistan (CNN) -- The Pakistani military was preparing to launch a heavy air assault after sunrise Friday on al Qaeda troops believed to be protecting a "high-value" leader near the Afghanistan border, Pakistani sources told CNN.

Wouldn't that be great? I've got my fingers crossed.
I heard something similar yesterday about this same area where the fighting's going on now.
They made it sound like the Pakistan military had pretty much left this area totally alone, until now, and because of that it had become a safe haven for terrorists to travel back and forth across the boarder. This report confirms that.
It would be terrific if they just eliminate any terrorist compound, let alone capture binladen's right hand man.
