Effective May 2004, PayPal will require U.S. Premier and Business users who receive more than $2,000.00 USD a month in payment volume through PayPal over three consecutive months to provide supplemental information about their businesses including business categorization, sales venue and business URL information.

Want to guess were this information goes?

You've got to be kidding. Many need eBay to suppliment their income. That info's none of Paypal's business. How can they do that?

It may be as a result of a crack down with their merchant provider. Thay is the same info your have to submit to a merchant account provider when you get one.

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?

When I heard this I to thought of taxes. Are they preparing for when and if we have to pay internet taxes. I sure hope not, but maybe by then I can settle to a normal life.

Currency will most likely become a relic of the past at some point in time.
There are at this time several companies that offer a pay system for employees, you carry a card that is updated weekly or whatever your employer's schedule might be. Instead of cash the card is presented and the amount of the transaction is deducted from it. You can still convert to cash, however, some might consider this the initial steps towards a cashless society.

They will do away with cash when politicians stop taking bribes. They are hard to take in chickens.
