Summary
John Kerry is fond of saying "I led the fight" on a lot of things -- against Arctic drilling, against Bush's Medicare prescription drug legislation, for federal grants for 100,000 new police officers, against Newt Gingrich's attempts to lessen environmental regulations.
But reporters who cover Congress often gave others credit for the leading roles in some of those fights -- with scant mention of Kerry.

That's the one thing about campaigning I find so silly. Everyone claims they know more, did more, will do more, were tops in everything they tried, have plaques and awards filling the garage, and always claim to have big ties to "Nam" in some way. That's why I like Edwards.

Soft spoken Edwards was not a match for the loud out spoken Kerry. Edwards had good ideas and I would hate to see him run as VP because he wouldn't get a word in edge wise let alone give some input in what is going to happen. He needs to get more exposure and he will make a decent run next time, that is if Hillary doesn't step in.
