Small is big. A nation that until now has been hung up on extra-large SUVs, McMansions and supersized meals is flip-flopping to the other extreme: all things small.
The trend goes way beyond food - to cars, computers, condos, cell phones, cameras and more.
"There's an 'excess' fatigue among consumers," says consultant Pam Murtaugh. "We've all gotten too big for our britches."
But it's not just consumer demand at play. There may be some marketing wizardry, too. Just as it was marketers who pushed all things big, they're equally happy to push all things small.
"Growing large was a marketing imperative," says Michael Tchong, trend analyst at Trendscape. Now, he says, if it helps sell products, "Small things can be beautiful, too." Among them:

any day when i walk down the street or mall or shop,i see women with abundant breasts,hips,arms,legs,thighs etc.
but when i walk into a shop selling bras,the cup sizes are usually small.
i dont get it!!
most women dont need breast enlargement,they need breast reduction!!
