Just wanted to answer your question from over in the Ebay Outlook.
I dont align or afflilate myself with anybody on these boards. I post in EO with maybe -the mistaken idea?- it is a board of contemporaries as posters there all have an interest in EBAY and Ebay selling. And thats what I have been attemping to better myself at for the last year. If I defended AA it was because as a newbie he was often very helpful posting links, etc. and I had no beef with him. I am not one who likes to jump on the band wagon very often; but suffice it to say, I do read and observe too.
It is funny, you would think that without the visual aids of communication or the vocal inflections (which are supposed to be the most used form of the senses) that you wouldn't discern half of what you do from this internet. The downside is there are alot of presumptions made and you really dont know what people carry with them, or who you are truly communicating with. Of course there are those who will make it their business to know, but, and correct me if I am wrong, but I thought that is like the dreaded and abhored spyware we are all so eagerly trying to rid our machines of?
As for Spyware.... I fear it not and I love my Mac all the more for it
As for AA - He is the EO version of spyware - why do you think he is held in such comtempt by so many?

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?

lol fenix...I forgot about you with the Mac!Maybe one day I will be able to get one. I'd really like to. I have been reading about sharing your harddrive with Linux? It seems a bit complicated (for me) - I'd probably crash windows trying to do it - but I might play around with it on my old computer.
