OK - I admit it - I wanted Kwame to win.....oh well. Omarosa is a #*!@ and I do admit loving that Erika was given the opportunity to call her out on her lie live in front of millions (was I the only one that just giggled with glee watching Trump tell her she had to get her lying under control?)

Anyway.....
If you watched the show you saw that they are auctioning pieces of memorabilia from the show off on ebay but I found out tonight that pieces or furniture from the penthouse were sent to different cities where silent auctions were held in conjuction with finale viewing parties. All proceeds are going to local charties while proceeds from the Ebay acutions is going to Breast Cancer research.

While much of it is simply PR it was really wonderful to see how many opportunities were used for the show to benefit worthy causes between the charity auction, the golf tourney, the Jessica Simpson concert and now the auctions.

Actually, the one who benefits most is the man who is really behind the show: Mark Burnett, the producer.

However, why begrudge someone for profiting off of something they do?

I'm sure Kwame has been flooded with offers. He is an intelligent young man, highly capable, steady and exceedingly likeable. I can't imagine a company that would not want him. Remember he left a high paying, high prestige job at Goldman Sakks to do the show.

On the other hand - I think last night will hopefully spell the beginning of the end of Omarosa. Her lying, manipulating and unfocused irresponsiblle ways were shown live and in living color and then, for those that missed it, were pointed out agin by Trump.

I'm wondering how Clairol is feeling about that endorsement contract now ....

OH, I think he would have fit in just fine. He lost, basically, for two reasons:

1) The idiotic move of taking Omarossa on his team. The woman is a baldfaced liar, a whining creature who cares nothing for anything but herself. How she can hold her head up in public is beyond me. But then, nothing is ever her fault...

2) He was way too laid back as a manager. He kept on saying he didn't want to "micromanage." But he went too far the other way. Yes, you give your people a task & let them do it--but you need to check with them & get updates periodically. You don't just walk away and "assume" everything will get done without another word from you.

Erika also had her moment on Oprah. She was great and never backed down especially when Oprah asked her point blank, looked her straight in the eye as Oprah can do, did you call her the N word. Erika said absolutely not I am not that kind of person.

Omarosa, if Kwaume would have know it, would have been fired. he stated he didn't know that was an option but if he did she would have been toast. I don't understand why she wanted to sabatoge Kwaume, he was such a nice person. Well, maybe that is why.

Did you notice everytime Omarosa had a chance she ran right to The Donald? Now about the money. His program will be the highest paid program on TV ($200,000.00 and episode) and he stated on the Oprah show all the proceeds from his show will go to Charity.

Dateline has a small piece on The Apprentice and it is going to air at 8 pm CDT. Condgratulations to Bill.

Listening/watching Dateline right now, and they're doing a segment on the show. Omorossa just let slip a real gem.

"They should have fired me" she said. The interviewer said "Really?" And then she said "oh, yes, in the fourth week I knew that I wasn't right for this organization--I'm too creative."

What a--er--great euphemism for bold-faced liar!

I think they said Kuame got a job offer from a billionaire Baseball owner. A team in the south. He sounded very positive about the job. I think it was a toss up until it came to Omarosa and her antics. That's to bad. But, Kuame the man that he was said he didn't think it had to do with her. He seems like a person that wouldn't say boo to anyone but then maybe we only saw the soft side of him. They also interviewed Amy and she has a job offer from Trump, but still in negotiations. I think these 14 well I hope only 13 will get some great job offers as I thought they all did pretty well for being in the first showing. Bill was on Jay Leno and he said he had to micromanage his team because they were unpaid and they had been up drinking Tequilla until 5 in the morning before he picked them.

This is one reality show I liked the best but I will bet his second season won't be as interesting and good because they will play a different game as they do in Survivor. It will start getting pretty cut throat.

How strange that Amy would get a job offer from Trump considering what all 4 of the interviewers sad about her? Annoying as helling, boring, and empty. I think that Amy would make a good assistant but she is too insincere and vapid to make a great leader.

"Apprentice" Kwame in Demand

The Donald may have fired Kwame Jackson, but the Harvard MBA and Apprentice runner-up is still a hot commodity.

After the finale wrapped, leaving Kwame in second place before about 28 million viewers, the 29-year-old New Yorker was quick to prove that he is, by no means, a loser.

At The Apprentice afterparty, Kwame was reportedly offered a cushy position managing one of the portfolios of Mark Cuban, billionaire owner of the Dallas Mavericks, according to Extra and starmagazine.com.

The Internet mogul reportedly waited for hours to gain the runner-up's ear and spring the job offer on him.

"I'm deciding and we're going to be talking," Kwame told Extra. "I mean, I'm just flattered that he waited around for me." (Star's Website reports that Kwame accepted the position.)

Then there's the offer from KFC--$25,000 for a week spent helping the company introduce its new oven-roasted chicken line. Will Kwame bite?

"Once we negotiate a higher fee, yes," he told tvguide.com.

That's not all on Kwame's plate--Star further reports that he is planning to produce a documentary about Florida State football coach Bobby Bowden and his talent for coaching black athletes. (Bowden is white.)

Kwame reportedly plans to launch Legacy Communications-- the shingle under which he'll produce his film, for which he hopes to raise $2.5 million. He's tapped Pumping Iron writer and director George Butler to helm the project.

As if any more proof were needed that Kwame is this year's answer to Clay Aiken, Star reports that he's been personally invited to accompany Greta Van Susteren to the White House correspondents dinner on May 1. (Susteren made waves when she invited Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne to serve as her dates two years ago.)

How's that skyscraper project lookin' now, Bill?

Though Bill Rancic walked away with the top prize Thursday night, NBC was also a big winner. Trump's Apprentice finale was the third most-most watched show of the season, trailing only the Academy Awards (news - web sites) and the post-Super Bowl episode of Survivor in the 18-to-49 demographic by which the Peacock measures its success.

The show easily outmatched CBS top contender CSI (23.6 million viewers) to win the night.

Perhaps trying to strike while the Donald is happy, several of the booted Apprentices are still attempting to cozy up to Trump, despite being fired over the course of the season.

Sam, the season's most eccentric firee, continued to display a flair for the bizarre by offering Trump a suitcase stuffed with $250,000 in exchange for a job. The Donald accepted the suitcase on air, but has yet to issue an edict as to whether Sam is hired or merely out a lot of money.

And then there's the women everyone loves to hate: Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth. While Trump hinted that Omarosa may make an appearance in season two of The Apprentice, reports indicate that the show's villain isn't one of the mogul's favorites.

According to Us Weekly, Omarosa begged for a gig as one of the judges at Trump's Miss USA pageant in Los Angeles on April 12--but to no avail.

"There was no way we were going to make her a judge," a pageant source told Us. "Mr. Trump is annoyed."

Trump has reportedly put an offer on the table for last blonde standing, Amy Henry--a job managing the sales team at Trump World Tower.

"He offered me a job and called on two occasions to make sure I was still interested," Amy told Us Weekly. She had yet to accept the position.

Around 250,000 hopefuls applied for the chance to sit in Trump's boardroom for another round of firings. The second season of The Apprentice will premiere this fall.

I am sure if Kwaume would have won the apprentice Bill would have received the same offers. It's all a game. Everyone on that show will probably be hired somewhere except I hope Omarosa. Bill is very happy with the position he has and He will probably remain in the trump organization after his one year and if not he will become a hot commodity.
