The final episode of "Friends" is almost here. It's enough to make one weep for joy.
Don't get me wrong--I don't dislike the show. In fact, I've only ever watched one or two episodes of it.
It's just that I have had it up to here with the nearly constant bombardment of "countdown" commercials for it. Can't even escape them at the movie theatre--local theatres here have something called the "Twenty" before every film (essentially a 20 minute commercial for movies, TV & the music industry, and it has been doing the countdown thing for "Friends" for months now... I've even seen commercials for it on TV channels other than NBC! Aaaaagh!
Only 12 more episodes! Only 11 more episodes! Only 10....9...8...7...
So, I'm sitting here putting up auctions and listening to Dateline and another of The Commercials comes on. AT LAST!!! It informs us that at last the final episode is here. O Frajous Day, Callooh Callay. Yes, I chortled in my joy. Can't happen soon enough...

yeah, kinda blew me away when I was in the theater, and seeing that looooooooooooooong ass thing for FRIENDS? my oldest daugher was with, and was going, 'oh no, its really going to end.......'
I've never watched it..... I'm probably the only person in these United States that never have! that or any of the other sitcoms, or reality shows...... take that back, I watched Survivor once, and not all the way through!

Near, ha, I used to think I was one of the few people that didnt watch survivor! Especially when it was going thru that 1st season craze. Everybody was talking about it and it held no appeal to me at all.
The only reality show I ever watched was the bachleor, the 2nd one I think, where the girl picked the guy Ian? (Kinda thought she was going to pick him, but I bet they dont last )
Have you ever watched Will and Grace? That is a such a funny and well written show, imo. I get such a kick out of those actors!I've watched friends here and there, but it never really caught on with me.
