i just bot 2 cans of pam cooking oil spray from costco,6.49 for 2 cans.
i then realised i should just buy a bottle of corn oil for 1.50 and a cheap brush and dip that brush in oil and paint the skillet ,would that be cheaper and better??

I bought a pump bottle from pampered chef. It's great. I use it over and over. You put oil in the bottle, pump it up and you have oil spray. Saves tons of money. It was worth the initial investment. I don't remember how much I paid for it, but it wasn't much.

thanks for the advice,i think i will return the 2 cans and get my money back from costco.
i need a brush instead of a pump,i need more than spray of oil,i need to coat the bottom of the skillet well.
in fact i may not renew my membership with costco next year,a lot of the bulk stuff are now being offered by supermarkets such as jumbo rolls of charmin, jumbo rolls of paper towel .
dont take me wrong, costco does have nice things.

Oil sold in this country can last for years without getting rancid,at least this is my experience.
one thing chinese do is slide a scallion into the wok while heating the oil

Another thing that will save you LOTS of money, is to use Curel as a face cream. I've tried the expensive ones and there's no difference - it's ALL hype.
