YOU PULL A THREAD THAT HAS A LINK ON IT WHICH OFFENDED A FEW POSTERS, AND LEAVE THIS THREAD UP - ONE THAT HAS A PHOTO DIRECTLY ON THE FIRST POST AND OFFENDED QUITE A FEW POSTERS?!?!

I can only imagine who did this.....
I never even thought about turning skylite, or the other little creep that posts dead peoples pictures, but maybe I should reconsider.
That was low, really low whoever did this.
And EAG better not be suspended either, he didn't do ANYTHING!!

Geeze....looks like we have a little tattle-tail amongst us. 
If our little RT "censor" reported it to Vendio...they would not look through all the other threads to also remove those pictures. They'd only remove the one that was reported.
Reporting this is really the lowest you can go, imo....whoever you are - hiding behind the "safety" of your monitor.

I don't need to tell on people to get my point across Linda. Did it ever occur to you that Vendio might have been monitoring the thread themselves? It was disgusting and I'm glad they removed it.

I just hope IF he was suspended that it doesn't effect his ebay business.
This stinks to high heaven. And is exactly why people stopped using their ebay related userid's to post in the RT....because there's always someone who doesn't think American's should be allowed to practice their free speech rights - and will be a tattle-tail if they get upset about anything.

Before some jump to conclusions and start to imagine that it may have been reported by someone who posts on this board, perhaps Vendio was monitoring the boards. Or it could have been a lurker who was offended by it. Threads have been pulled on the Outlook on occasion also, even after the moderators left.
As far as I know, the only way to tell if EAG is still here is if he posts again or if someone knows how to e-mail him to ask or if he tells someone else to report back for him. It's up to Vendio whether a poster is given a 30 day suspension or a permanent one. I've seen them remove threads before but the posters remain.
I've been here for years and never get the urge to report anyone to AW/Vendio but if anyone else chooses to that's up to them. I don't take sides in issues like this because I believe in free speech.

There's been too many things posted here that would have been taken off if they were still monitoring this board.....and they haven't taken any others of since the monitors were let go.

I have no idea what you're referring to Linda.
Have you ever seen a person post a link to graphic pictures of a person being killed without them telling you what to expect? If you've been here years, you'd no that's NEVER happened.

The difference is that what you approve of can be shown....you say it shows what war's like.....
well so does the other picture....it shows the monsters who would like to do that to ALL Americans - and exactly the type of evil people American is fighting against in this war.

You have proof that a Canadian reported the thread, EAG? Vendio actually e-mailed you and said that? Somehow I truly doubt that Vendio would report back to you why your thread was nuked or who reported it.
As for Vendio monitoring the threads here, perhaps someone can explain how Diana showed up here recently.

Linda, it's good to see you defend free speech to such a degree. When Twelve claimed to be trying to shut down what he believed to be skylites site I must have missed your posts in support of skylite. If you let me know the thread where you condemned him (Twelepole) I'll go back and look.
And before you waste your time (addressed to everyone) thinking it was me, it was not. As a proud card carrying member of the ACLU I support everyones right to free speech whether I believe in their cause or not.

And I would guess Diana showed up here because a Vendio service was mentioned in the thread. "Vendio" being a keyword.
It takes them at least a day to reply to posts on the Vendio Services board, so I honestly doubt they have time to monitor the RT. AND if they by chance are monitoring the RT, it further infuriates me that they allow other photos to be DIRECTLY posted here and remain here.

I don't believe that Vendio just did a random monitor today.. someone 'tattled'
but then if Vendio did, then something is wrong with their just picking that ONE thread, there are more that are even more offensive..... somethings up here

Linda, you're also missing the point. The pictures are horrible but I've seen worse. They don't bother me as much as EAG "forgetting" to say his link would take you to a place that showed pictures of an American in the process of being killed. There's a HUGE difference.

does NOT necessarily mean someone FROM canada reported it.
It could have been a joke....referring to how Canada keeps control of what can be heard on their government run TV stations.

The word "Evil" could just as easily have caught the attention of Vendio.
If they were to remove threads I would much rather they remove the ones here where twelvepole was calling some of us the C word. That offended me more than the link that EAG posted.
Instead of everyone pointing fingers if you're that concerned how about contacting Vendio and asking them?
