I was just watching a rerun of Murder he Wrote and of course they re-enacted my favorite dramatic pet peeve.

Actress.. I had to make sure Danny could not access his computer files so..........

You know what comes next.... She smashes the monitor!

Smashing a monitor as a means of computer file destruction is by far my biggest dramatic pet peeve.

What's yours?

(My other one is men -including Bond- ordering drinks Shaken not Stirred in their most studly manly voice.... cause eveyone knows that there is nothing quite like a watered down Martini )

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?

Good ones Fenix!

I guess mine would be from the oldies too - Barnaby Jones, The Streets of San Francisco... and there's always a shoot-out. Everyone, including the criminals, are all dressed in suits and they're on very busy streets shooting tons of bullets at each other while running very long distances. Barnaby Jones was in his 70's or 80's and could outrun anyone on the show. LoL!!!

In a lot of old Westerns (which I generally love) - there's always an arrow that gets shot at somebody's back - you can usually see a rectangular shaped board that's under the back of the actor's shirt.

I always love the scenes where someone runs into an office building they have never been in before and goes to someones desk and goes into their computer and pulls up any file from the government they want...yea right how do they know the password to even get on this computer?

My pet peeve is blatant anachronisms, like in the movie "Rundown" starring the Rock. The movie is set in South America, but they have Old World monkeys running around.
