Race about to start hours late due to rain. Jim Nabors is now singing that famous song. Dave Letterman is there. Rupert Boneham is holding TV equipment for ABC and Now "Lady and Gentlemen Start your Engines.

A Memorial Day tradition but a weekend to remember our War Veterans from every War. My hats off to them. To our War dead they died bravely and I truly thank their families.

Lest we Forget....

Libra - You're making me homesick. Can just hear Nabors singing it now.

----
Back home again in Indiana
And it seems that I can see
A gleaming candlelight
Still shining bright
Through the sycamores, for me
The new-mown hay
Sends all its fragrance
From the fields I used to roam
When I dream about the moonlight
On the Wabash
Then I long for my Indiana home
----

Can't stay...my family has arrived for a visit. The last year that my husband and I were at Indy was 1990....watched both the qualifying and the race.

My mom was one of the nurses in the pits there in the mid to late 40's.

Have a good day.

Re-elect President Bush!!
