What colognes do you guys wear and which men's colognes do you ladies like? No, this is not a political thread in disguise.

Sorry, but I can't tell you--I never ask a man the name of his cologne.

One thing I will say, though: of the men that do wear cologne, way too many of them wear way too much of it. It can slap you in the face when the guy is still 10 - 15 feet away sometimes. Some womendo this, too, but is something I've noticed about men far more often.

I prefer the scent of freshly printed $100 dollar bills, gently applied behind my ear lobes.

" $100 dollar bills, gently applied behind my ear lobes. "

Just a suggestion: If you tape them to your forehead, you will attract a LOT more women!

Bunni, I agree. Women are bad too. I always think people that wear too much perfume are trying to cover up something. Then you have the other group that should wear perfume.

Hi Stusi! I'm a Chanel No. 5 fanatic. I've worn it since I was in highschool. What do you wear?

You guys are funny. If I asked a political question would I get some answers about Realms, Obsessions and Truths?

You guys are too funny.

I rarely use cologne now-a-days but my favorite over the years has always been Ciara. I've had a few men ask the name of the cologne I'm wearing - saying they wished to purchase it for their special lady.

For me I like the natural scent of a man rather than smelling a cologne - that I agree - they usually smell like they bathed in.

Are you SURE this isn't political?

Personally I wear CK during the day, Chanel Allure or YSL Opium in the evening depending on the occasion. As for what I like on men , it varies widely depending on the man and my mood.

Funny you ask stusi, I just bought my hubby some JOOP today. Smells nice. But agreed, no need for too much..faint scent of it is pleasing.

I've noticed a lot of older men seem to bathe in their cologne. I've heard that our sense of smell begins to diminish with age, so maybe that's their problem. There are some gents in our small town who leave a trail of very strong cologne behind them when they walk to their p.o. box and back out. People stop dead in their tracks to wheel around and see what that smell is. Spouses or family ought to tell these guys they're NOT winning female hearts.

I myself (female) have worn Shalimar all my married life. My father gave me a bottle when he returned from a trip to Canada. I put it on and my husband just loved it, so that's been it ever since. My husband doesn't wear any at all.

I wear Bath & Bodyworks, either Sandlewood Rose or Jasmine Vanilla, during the day on weekends. (I can't wear any scent during the week, as my work doesn't allow it.)

On the weekends, at night, I wear Oscar de la Renta. I have worn that for years, and have been complimented for it on numerous occasions.

Just a personal note...it is refreshing to reply to something on a not political note!

kraft- I have been using Ralph Lauren Purple, Paco Rabanne Ultraviolet and Davidoff Goodlife among others. Does anyone remember Canoe? It was big in high school. The girls used to use Ambush and Tabu.

Don't touch the stuff. Another petro chemical, in lieu of cologne I bathe occasionally.
