Yesterday the Cheney campaign ran into trouble in Pittsburgh. As Cheney was giving a speech. Outside the building Cheney was speaking at there were about 50 protesters. The protesters were peacefully demonstrating against the current administration's policies. Inside the building a 68 year old woman called out during his speech "GOOD JOBS NOT BAD WARS." This woman later said that a man in a brown suit confronted her saying she was not welcome and faced possible arrest, then the man PUSHED HER. Two other men intervened telling the brown suited man to stop. She stayed for the rest of the speech saying later "some of her neighbors were not too happy" about what happened to her. So now we have old ladies getting pushed around by (brown shirts) oops, I meant to say brown suits. Maybe this old gal should have used Cheney's words and told the brown shirt to "F#*$ OFF."

BUSH AND CHENEY WILL DO ANYTHING AND SAY ANYTHING TO GET ELECTED. ITS TIME TO OUTSOURCE THESE GUYS BEFORE ITS TO LATE.

So two people who just happen to be listening to Cheney's speech get into a fight and it's HIS fault?

And if he she didn't want trouble, she probably should have kept her mouth shut. Yelling dissenting opinions at a speech is NOT a peaceful protest.

Always....according to them. I'm surprised Bush wasn't blamed for it.

Well, hi linda.

DUH Nobody said it was Cheney's fault, however, having goons in the audience to keep the elderly in line sounds like something right up his alley.
After all, if the administration thinks torture is appropriate why not shove old ladies around.

But, linda, wasn't it really Clinton's fault?

Sounds like the lady was trying to deny Cheney's right of free speech. It was probably Crowfarm. Why not let Cheney speak and then you can protest all you want.

I don't see anything in the original post that states that the brown suited man was working there. Probably just another attendee. If I, as a civilian, was standing next to a big mouth like that, I'd probably have said something too.

" the Cheney campaign ran into trouble "
"CHENEY WILL DO ANYTHING AND SAY ANYTHING "

Anyone who doesn't think this post is blaiming Cheney should learn to read.

Wow looks like crowfarm is in love...
Can't hold his own, so he mistakenly latches on to someone else's coat tail...

Who said the man in the brown suit was actually working for VP?

Maybe just a concerned citizen that had had enough of the big mouth....

Perhaps the man was mad that he didn't get a chance to tell Cheney to shut his big lying mouth.....
