The toy that I miss the most was our toy yacht. We used to spend every weekend on the boat in Annapolis harbor or in that vicinity, near the Naval Academy But it became too much work and expense and we had to sell it. It held about 240 gallons of gas in addition to slip fees, bottom painting etc.
Today I would like to have a swimming pool but all that I have in my back yard is a lawn mower. Hahaha

Just my bike. Can't afford anything else. The bike I used to have was bought at a flea market for $25. It's a motobecan. I splurged and spent $90 on one with a good padded seat (that's important, you know) and wide tires. We like to bike the towpath along the Ohio Erie Canal and it needs the mountain bike tires.
Oh, I do have a pair of sketcher's outdoor rollerskates if that counts.

For me, toys are elctronics. I'm addicted. I am just tryig t o decide if my next one is going to be the Apple G5 that is actually usefull and tax deductable as a business expense or a video projector which is purely for entertainment purposes with no redeeming purposes whatsoever other than allowing me to not have to find some way to decorate or paint that particular wall
Ofncourse that two person spa I saw the other day would be a fun and interesting addition to the loft

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?

Forget the Jeep, I used it last weekend to pull a mesquite stump. That makes it a tool. Same with the beer tap. Guinness or Newcastle Brown in bottles would be an impossible burden to transport from town. No tap = no beer = necessary item..That leaves the fishing pole I guess.
