I encourage all right thinking people to visit that site and then come back here and tell me being homosexual is the right choice...

A recent study by researchers at the University of Colorado found that a child's risk of being molested by a heterosexual may be more than 100 times greater than the risk of being abused by a homosexual.

But twelve you and that good "christian" CC just keep trying to spread your hate...it's so good for the soul.....oh, sorry, you don't have one, do you.

twelve, I have posted a link to NAMBLA more than once. An organization of extremely sick people who wish to have legal rights to have sex with minors. The reason I had posted it before was because the ACLU has come to their defense in problems they were having. The ACLU willingly defended NAMBLA - without payment at all.

That there are those in our society that would want an organization like NAMBLA to continue....proves how far down the moral ladder we've come as a nation. It sickens me.

KD - Do you personally agree with the position of NAMBLA? There are homosexuals....mostly...that are the ones preying on our young children. Are you saying you think they're not? Are you saying you think they have a 'right' to promote this behavior? Are you protecting them....siding with them because they're gay?

This isn't a left vs right issue....this is a moral issue.

I honestly don't think I have interacted in threads about homosexuality. I have talked about "marriage" but I have not condemed them. I have friends that are homosexuals and even if I don't like their live style. I would never, never turn my back on them.

I also don't like interracial marriages but I will never condemn them either. It is the choice that one makes and who am I to object.

I don't believe in abortion, but then again it is a womens right to have one if she chooses. Until there is a law passed for or against them I will hold my opinion.

Lifestyle is a choice people make and who am I to object. There are male couples and female couples that live together that are straight. So please don't include me in any homosexual topics.

Here is an article on NAMBLA:

http://www.family.org/cforum/citizenmag/features/a0019820.cfm

Someday I will learn how to link.

Here is an excerpt:

Late last year, though, the pedophilia propaganda machine was steaming along as aggressively as ever. Rind and his colleagues published another pro-pedophilia study, this time in the Archives of Sexual Behavior — the official publication of the International Academy for Sex Research — saying boys molested between 12 and 17 had as much self-esteem and positive sexual identity as boys who were not molested.

And the APA’s penitence proved short-lived. Its president, Norine Johnson, defended the right of researchers like Rind to have “controversial and unpopular” work published (though the organization has routinely turned away research on changing homosexual orientation).

And even more insults from Maggie: wow, what a shock.

In Christ,
Rick

1Cor 1:20

"I am trying here to prevent anyone saying the really foolish thing that people often say about Him: "I'm ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I do not accept His claim to be God." That is one thing we must not say. A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic....or else he would be the devil of Hell. You must make your choice. Either this man was, and is, the Son of God: or else a madman or something worse. You can shut Him up for a fool, you can spit at Him and kill Him as a demon; or you can fall at His feet and call Him Lord and God. But let us not come with any patronizing nonsense about His being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us. He did not intend to."

Linda, I don't support pedophiles but I don't see gays and pedophiles as being in the same category as you do. I can't comment on the Nambla site because I haven't seen it, but does it say somewhere that all the men are gay there? Also, if they are gay and are committing a crime, they should be put in jail like anyone else. Gays and straights can be criminals, but you seem to imply because they're gay, they're predispositioned to criminal behaviour, unless I misunderstand.

Listen careful crowfarm. I didn't go in there and read it. Hold your language as I really don't appreciate someone talking to me like that. To me that is blasphemous. Maybe your not a Christian and that is fine but I am one. The name calling refers to a previous thread that Maggie accused me of. Then she comes and and says that about 12. Of course you didn't read that, and that is why I said it to you.

We all know twelve's position on homosexuality and he won't give up. The more you egg him on the wilder it will get so keep it up Crowfarm. But please get off my back.

Now, tonight on the news I heard that the catholic church is now starting to file bankrupcies because of all the problems they have had with the priests. It has cost them over 650 million in payout so far to boys who were molested by Priests. Now I know all homosexuals are not pedophiles but we can say for sure many were.

KD - but I don't see gays and pedophiles as being in the same category as you do.

I don't think you know what category I put anyone in. Few around here ever ask...they just make assumptions.

Pedophiles can be either sex who want to have sex with minors, of either sex. Some want same sex some want opposite sex. All want our young childen.

Gays *can* be pedophiles....and most who belong to NAMBLA are. Their motto used to be 'Sex before Eight or It's Too Late'. They believe there is nothing wrong with an adult 'teaching' a child about sex....I mean in actions not words.

If you don't wish to do a search on the NAMBLA organization or read their own website yourself....then I don't believe you can say, with any knowledge, they are NOT gays.

I can't comment on the Nambla site because I haven't seen it, but does it say somewhere that all the men are gay there[/i]?

Libra, your correct: not all homosexuals are pedophiles. However, if a male has sex with a male it makes them homosexual: and if the male they have sex with is a minor then they are a pedophile. Same thing with a female: a female that has sex with an minor female is a pedophile as well. Doesn't matter the gender: if it is the same sex they are homosexual pedophiles. A heterosexual person that has sex with a child of the opposite sex is a pedophile as well, just a heterosexual pedophile instead of a homosexual pedophile.

So, yes; all the clergy that sodomized boys are really homosexual pedophiles. Same thing with the nuns that targeted girls: you are homosexual if you prefer members of the same sex.

In Christ,
Rick

Libra... Yes.. I admit.. I get upset when supposedly "Christians" feel that they have the right to call a person.. a stranger to them.. a pedophile.. as CC and Twelve did to Logan. These self proclaimed messengers of God spew hatred and lies all in the name of Religion..

Linda, I am surprised.. I thought you were an educated woman. Perhaps you missed a post or two? Like the one where CC is telling Weenie boy that logan should belong to NAMBLA..and to which Logan replies.. no since that would make him a pedophile.. which he is not...
There are as many sick heterosexual pedophiles as there are sick homosexual pedophiles
.. Now CC is trying to hide behind his God who he says gives him the right to call people vile names and make vile accusations about.
I detest any person who harms a child... I detest people who proclaim they are Good Christians spreading the word of our Lord.. while spewing hatred, and lies.. and I detest the little weenie coward who sits back and enjoys the hatred he incites.

Krafty - by definition of it's very name, (North American Man Boy Love Association) NAMBLA does consit exclusively (maybe some bi) homosexual pedophiles.

NAMBLA is one of those organizations that makes most people wonder about the rights of free speech. Their purpose, their beliefs and sickening in my personal opinion (which has nothig to do with their homosexuality and everything to do with their pedophelia) and the fact that they actually have organized and published to try to legitimize their beliefs makes my skin crawl but at the same time, if you allow the line to be drawn, who decides where it is drawn. Where does the censorship of ideas stop.

As for the study... bullsh*t! They may feel good about themselves during the "relationship" because someone is showing them love and affection but pedophiles do not grow old in their relationships and homosexual pedophiles tend to victimize kids who have not yet discovered their sexual orientation for themselves or even to know that what they are involved in is not the norm for kids their age. So what happens when the child grows too old for their older molester. They are then left not just dealing with the the abandonment issues but also the questioning of their sexuality and everything else that comes with molestation.

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?

The number of children being molested by STRAIGHT men far outweighs those who are molested by gay men. The old pervert that lived down the street from me and who is now serving time in prison for child molestation is as straight as they come. From an old newspaper man:

"I'm an old guy who was raised to think that gays were perverts. But I'm also an old newspaper reporter who, in my time, covered some hideous stories of perversion. And the vast number of those dealt with sicko heterosexual males preying on little girls. Once in a hundred, you'd get a gay-rape story. I've gone behind police lines and seen the bodies of children left in fields. And when the cops finally hunted down the beasts who had left them there, they were never gay men."

Nice try, twelve.

The Reverend Doesn't HATE anyone but He dislikes NAMBLA enough to beat them to the other side with a blunt instrument.

On the other hand, I don’t believe all the gays (or even many) are NAMBLA..

I don’t real care what gays do in the privacy of their homes. It’s their choice and they have their rights. (Probably not a God given right!!).

I too have a right to disagree with their lifestyle and I do. I find the TV media’s onslaught of gay shows to be offensive. Most are in bad taste. It seems they are shoving the gay movement down our throats (A bad choice of words?)

NAMBLA makes no sense to me, however statistically there are a higher percentage of heterosexual child molesters than gay. Focusing on a small criminal group within a larger population and attributing their deeds to the population at large is not correct.

There are wife beaters however all husbands do not beat there wives.

There are rapists however all men (or women) are not rapists.

There are bank robbers however all people do not rob banks.

There are paranoid homophobic bigots however not everyone is a paranoid homophobic bigot.

etc. etc.

A better question would be: And, why is Colin watching so many gay shows? LOL!

Certainly he can't mean Will & Grace, which protrays the seedy side of both straight and gay life. Jack and Karen are the extreme of gay and straight lifestyles.

Certainly he can't mean Queer Eye because straight men are coming to them for advice.

I've not seen one offensive gay related show on network TV. The exception would be the one on HBO, however, that is geared toward gays and no one is forcing anyone to watch it.

Cheryl, that is why I asked that question to Colin. I wanted to find out which shows were so offensive. Most of the shows on regular TV are tame. There are more racier soap operas on regular TV than the gay themed shows.

My next comment would have been so I guess the gay population is supposed to watch a man and woman make out and grope each other because this is more accepted.

Logansdad: You are certainly correct. There are a lot of straight people that turn me off by their attitude or whatever, too. And some people it seems always have something to prove, whether you care or not.

That show that we caught was called the Rodney something or other show and it was on the comedy channel(I think).

It's got to be weird for a gay person watching a love scene in a movie and having no feelings (or repulsed feelings - do you get repulsed?) I never thought about that!

No I dont get repulsed by it. I realize that is part of everyday life just like watching a lesbian season on gay TV show. If a straight love scene does get to annoying for me, I turn the channel.

I am more repulsed by a straight couple groping each other or giving long deep kisses to each other in public. If they want to make out, do it at home.

Lol Logans. My dh is very bad about making quips about that. He will say a certain group of people are famous for that.(I wont note it because it might offend some). But he sardonicly notes they are probably cursing and beating each other up at home, and then kissing all lovey dovey out on the street just for everyone to see! LOL!

I've often felt everywhere you go people with cell phones are pretty annoying. I dont even have one. (At times I wished I did) but dont feel the need to talk to everybody when I am trying to complish something some place.
