My laughter wasn't because he is or isn't a 'rightie'. I believe, from his posts, he's either a Libertarian or an Independent. But that aside....
I first started laughing seeing your continued posting to yourself. I found that humorous. Then when I read his post....I guess I just needed a good laugh....and that sure did it for me.
You lefties are too quick to make assumptions...before 'blasting' others.

I am sorry if I misunderstood, Linda.. but you have to admit.. you have been keeping company with some shady characters of late.
When you associate yourself with the likes of Twelve or Parklane.. it gives the wrong impression.. When you stand on your own you are much more credible.. you don't need them to drag you down. Although I do not agree with your Political views, I can respect your opinions... the other two.. don't have opinions.. their only purpose is to disrespect and ridicule others.
And as far as insults are concerned... reading your posts today directed toward Helen.. well its another case of the pot calling the kettle black.. isn't it? mm

When I agree with anyone, that is MY choice to make....no one elses. I don't see that anyone 'drags me down'....we each are only responsible for our own posts. Besides that they add much to our 'discussions' here - as do others who don't agree with my political leanings.

Not in my opinion, maggie. If you will pay attention you will find that I don't start the insults. My 'take' is it's because the ultra-lefties here don't like reading my strong opinions don't like that I have strong convictions that are opposite theirs. So...rather than address my posts they start making it personal.
Please start paying attention on WHO starts the insults on each thread where I am in someway involved. There are lefties here I don't treat in the same manner.....they are the one's I have grown to respect over the years - while disagreeing with their political positions.
Discussion/debate CAN be accomplished without the personal insults. We just have to decide if that's what we're here for or if we like the insult trading.

And you say that you wish to discuss and debate.. but that too is not the truth.. how can you debate or discuss a subject when you close your ears, heart, and mind to any opposing views.. you have to be willing to listen and try to understand your opponents arguements to be able to have a discussion or to debate them....why not give it a try sometime...mm
