Has anyone else been watching the World Series Of Poker?? It's fun to watch all the different poker playing styles.
With all the different personalities on these message boards, I think it would be kinda neat to watch some of us play poker with each other.

I love playing poker....and I did, by accident, see part of one show. I'll try to catch it again.
twig - Characters, huh?
yellowstone - Maybe you might be willing to share your vision of 'our little happy family here - playing poker'. Are guns allowed?
I'd be willing to point out who would have an Ace high straight....and not even know it. Who would play and not be playing with a full deck....hehehe
Who needs to know when to hold them...know when to fold them and when to up the ante and call their bluff.

I can't remember what channel I've been catching it on. We don't get the travel channel. If we did, I'd just sit and fantasize about far-away, exotic places and get nothing done!....lol!

I don't consider poker a sport even though the WSOP is on ESPN, it's just a game. They really do need to keep gambling out of the olympics.
The most popular game that they show being played is no limit Texas Hold Em. I have to admit that I don't know all of the rules but I keep watching so's I can learn more. What I am having a hard time understanding is what the small and large blinds are all about. Davebraun maybe you can you help me to understand this.

Being silly is a side of you that I don't get to see often enough, keep it up, oh and guns are not allowed but your fav alcoholic beverage or non is.
