Just think, the world saw these pictures and the people of many countries have very likely form a new concept of thinking towards the United States. I wonder what it may be?

Even Powell admitted that the Iraq prisoner abuse had a "terrible Impact" on America's international image. BUT his statement was made in an effort to distance the administration from the reports that the Bush administration encouraged the abuses by emphasizing a get-tough approach to interrogations.
He went on to tell the foreign leaders at the economic conference in Jordan, “Watch America. Watch how we deal with this. Watch how America will do the right thing.”
And look what they call the right thing!!! The've shifted the blame to the MP's who were unsupervised and untrained to deal with prisoners.

We are exerting our dominance in the world. The other nations in the world are fully aware that we are using the excuse of 9-11 to be a bully.
Follow the money. The dollar is the pre-eminent currency in the world. Logically, that has to be challenged or we maintain the status quo. The Euro and the Yuan are the two currencies able to challenge our grip on world trade and international banking. Stay tuned.
Don't let our fighting men get pimped out to put out fires all over the world. We can't allow ourselves to get danced around and miss a lob on the far side of the court. We need to concentrate more on dealing with the way things are than with the way we want things to be.

God. I'm ashamed to call myself an American these days.
