Well, Maggie says Hi to everybody and goodbye! She has taken a little 30 day "hiatus" from the Vendio chat room thanks to some cowardly shriveled up weak old prune.
I have found Maggie's posts very colorful, original and funny! But some overly sensitive, humorless baby must've taken objection to someone with a brain who has "No Fear"!
Well, the Vendio chat rooms will certainly be duller without her !
I hope she returns spunkier than ever !

So what are you saying crowfart? She's been suspended? Or her choice to leave? Are you two tied at the hip? Had I known that, I would not have made an effort to joke with her.
Maybe she went a little too far on Near the Sea - who is probably one of the NICEST posters on this board. Seems to me, when youre *new youre hardly in a position to tell a 'regular' for lack of a better word, "dont let the door kick you in the azz." And maybe following Libra into the EO to harass her was a little too much too soon knowing how sensitive she is. If she comes here, she knows what she'll likely get, but why bring it into an ebay item thread?
As for Me...She can say whatever she wants, and I'll laugh in her face. But then I am easily entertained.
You, on the otherhand, crowfart, cannot even compete with one on an intellectual level. You lack any imagination to do so. All you do is parrot what anybody else says. You talk of others c&P's but if somebody asks you what you personally think, providing websites of politicians is not exactly an answer that shows thinking or feeling for yourself.

If Maggie was suspended, I don't find anything the least bit funny or enjoyable about it. It seems we definitely have a rat among us as this has been happening far too often around here. Whoever you are, congratulations, you have reached the status of CHILD - IOW: tattle-taler, snitch, brat, etc., etc., etc. My message for you is: If you don't like what's posted here - LEAVE.

If it sounds like anything to me, I said MAYBE she went to far? I was guessing, ok.
But I think you're missing one very important point here. If VENDIO decides to suspend anyone -- like maybe the final decision is up to them -- maybe they are actually monitoring the content of their own site and have their own standards of what is going to far based on what THEY read??????????????????? Its my best guess.
I can hardly see anybody whining to Vendio because they are offended by someone else's posts. As anybody who posts here slings their own sh** on any given day. So why do you assume it is a rat? Almost all sites have their own standards and even Vendio has a user agreement. Just because they dont have a board monitor doesnt mean they cant or dont read the boards. I would think they have some clue before they arbitrarily suspend someone.

Go back and re-read crowfarm's post. Vendio suspends when someone draws it to their attention. Others have said worse here and continue to do so. She is not the first recent suspension that I know about. Someone contacted Vendio and complained. I don't think for one moment that you had anything to do with it. We may not agree on things, but you can sling it as good as the rest of us - that's meant to be taken as a compliment not an insult.

Thanks Cheryl. Yes, I agree. I know,I've given it and taken it. At times I wonder if I might be suspended?? lol.
It might be 'brought' to their attention by someone, but do you really think they dont try to assimilate some facts or weigh whether the complaint is valid against what is posted here? I would hope and think they would. They have to know what 'the' community is made up of here.
Besides, ms helen who seems to know it all rather indicates maggie has decided to take a break on her own. [which isnt a bad idea if one feels posting is going where you did not want to take it]
I'm sure that Maggie is laughing about all this. What a hit she made and one that she can be proud of! That's why I pointed out that she chose to leave. Her posts on a particular thread on EO just disappeared and so did she. I don't think it's speculation at all. BTW, I've made a friend or two out of this board and we do email one another on a regular basis. Anything wrong with that? I'd like to not lose touch with Maggie. Some of you may not have liked her, but I did. I don't see that as a capital crime. The thread is Bidder Demands Refund in case you're interested.
It's scarey to think that any one of us (and I mean any one of us) can be suspended at anytime because we may have offended someone, somehow. Maybe Maggie went too far on the EO board. I don't know because I missed the fiasco for the benefit of sleep. It's far tamer over there and most of the posters there are not thick skinned and choose to stay away from this board.

I read the thread on EO and believe the comments in question were a spill-over from RT, which was uncalled for. (I don't remember exactly what was said, only how I felt when reading it...MY opinion.)
I don't believe anyone from RT was the "culprit", as we are used to this.

But we don't really know all the facts on this case. In fact, we don't really know ANYTHING.
Assume maggie was a user that was formerly suspended for life (that had been suggested before) and Vendio just now caught on. What else would you expect them to do?
Vendio's system isn't going to catch on to very similar names and addresses, but a manual review would catch it.
Just a guess.
And I can't find anything on EO about any of this. I must have come in too late.

Helen, I've seen the "ghost posts" like yours before on Vendio/AW. Sometimes it happens when things are running slower and on those same days there are double posts too sometimes.

Helen, one time many years ago I thought somebody that worked for Vendio was doing those ghost posts because one of the mods, I think it was Michelle had done one once. Then it happened to others so I knew it could happen to anyone.
But when I saw that it happened to you that's the first thing I thought of.
I thought hmmmm....... Helen is really hired by Vendio just to keep the boards moving along and she forgot to sign in some special way so she has a ghost post.
In fact you're so good working undercover that you even gave yourself a 30 day vacation once so we won't suspect anything!
