I've lived through 10 of them so far!
Haven't voted for that many.
But have watched them come and go!
Not half of you here can say that!

Most of you here don't have a Clue as to what it takes to make a Country Work!

It's all been done for you!
Think So?
Not Quite!
It's never Ending!

A lot of you think paying Taxes is all that's needed!
Not now or Ever!

Fighting is what made this Country & Fighting will keep the Country going.

The citizens of this country are getting to the point where they think TALK can cure the problem.
Not so!
Never has!
Never Will!
Talk is cheap!

Up until Bush Sr.( Desert Storm ) Not a war more like a police action / Korea. Every War has been started by A Democrat and ended by a Republican.

You all seem to think Republicans are War Mungers and Democrats can Talk their way out of anything.
Remember: Johnson: who blew Vietnam into a war,Ford: who had trouble standing on his own 2 feet,Carter:who got our troops killed accomplishing nothing And Clinton who dropped Bombs on Iraq just because he could!

Remember when you Vote:
We need someone who will SHOW them who we are!
Not tell them who we are!

Now don't get me wrong!
We also need someone to look after the problems at home.
But I don't think we will ever get a president, who will concentrate on both.
If you were President do you think you could efficiently?
I don't!
Concentrate on the problem at hand.

I will admit: JFK seemed to be able to chew gum and walk at the same time!

But we aren't raising our future generations that way anymore.!
Our Future leaders won't be able to Talk & Think at the same time.
Maybe in the Future we will need to Elect 2 Presidents at a time.

1- for world affairs
1- for Home affairs.

World affairs- A strong Republican!
Home- USA affairs, This will be the place for a Women President!

So you are basically saying that Bush has set a precedent and now you don't expect more from future leaders? lol

Well if Bush HAS set a precedent:

Kerry is surely taking advantage of it with his: Flip Flopping!

What do you think is ahead?

I think the empire is in decline. People are too accepting of corrupt government and not enough are asking questions or speaking out and are very content to follow like sheep. The ones that do speak up are immediately accused of being anti-American.

Too many are focused on their own immediate little world and haven't taken time to look worldwide as to what is happening. Fire power does not solve problems and can create even more, the war in Iraq is a prime example.

The middle class is slowly disappearing but those secure in their own little boxes don't even recognize it. The pendulum has swung way too far one way and it's hard to know if we can come back again. Too many people are living in la la land and don't see or believe any of this.

Right now there are no promising leaders.

I feel the war in Iraq was inevitable!
I don't think anyone could disagree with that.
Maybe we could have held off but it would have come sooner or later.

I think the empire is in decline.

It will be if our leaders and our citizens aren't willing to fight!

What empire are you talking about?

Imperialistic aspirations are certainly prone to puncture when paired with incompetant leadership, an overstretched military, and deficit spending. Precedent: The glory of Rome was in the Republic, not the Empire.

President Bush has shown he has the willingness to do whatever it takes to protect our Nation.

He doesn't 'stew' about being 'sensitive' towards those who wish our Nation harm. He's not wish-washy about dealing with our enemies...he hasn't flip-flopped on how to deal with our enemies....he doesn't talk for 8 years about taking action...he took action.

And he can be depended upon, trusted, to do what it takes to defend our Nation.
-----------------------

On the 'class' issue....the dems use this in each and every election. Those terrible wealthy people vs the poor. They support income redistribution so all can be equal.

From today's Washington Times:

By Donald Lambro
The Congressional Budget Office (CBO) recently rolled out a suspiciously timed analysis that, its Democratic sponsors say, shows the tax burden shifting to the middle class under President Bush's tax cuts.

But, in fact, the CBO study shows and flatly states everyone, especially the middle class, has benefited from the Bush tax cuts, whose heaviest tax reductions go to lower- to middle-income people, 6 million of whom were removed from the tax rolls or helped by the Earned Income Tax Credit; working couples who got marriage penalty relief; and families with children whose per child tax credit was doubled to $1,000.

In a paper titled "Effective Federal Tax Rates Under Current Law, 2001 to 2014," the CBO clearly states Mr. Bush's tax cuts "lowered individual income taxes for all taxpayers."

But this is a presidential election year and congressional Democrats hoped to make some political hay and help John Kerry's presidential bid by asking the CBO to come up with a distributional tax burden study [b]designed to promote their class-warfare notion that Mr. Bush's economic recovery plan cut taxes for the rich and raised taxes for everyone else.

When the study was completed a week or so ago, Democratic leaders leaked it to their news media pals and spun its findings to promote their "rich get richer" obsession.

But tax analysts who saw the study said it shows nothing of the kind. "A lot of ink is being spilled about modest shifts in relative tax burdens," former CBO Director Robert Reischauer told me. "Virtually all taxpayers benefit to some degree from the tax cuts."

Was this the same time Bush Jr decided he was going to become President in 2000 and then invade Iraq without a plan?
