I'm astonished ... amazed ... I have NEVER gotten a phone call, albeit a recorded message, from A PRESIDENT of the United STates !!!! ...
George W. Bush just called my home phone!!! HOnest to God~! ... told me I would be getting an absentee ballot in the mail which he would like for me to fill out (does he think I won't be around? LOL) ......... and mentioned economy moving forward, fight on terrorism, all that stuff...
I just stayed on the phone when he finished saying "I'm George w. Bush and I approved this message sponsored by the Bush Cheney 04 committee ..." and i stood there waiting, and i said, "Mr. Bush??? ... ... ... is that all? .... that's all you have to say??"
LOL .. he didn't answer me. LOL

And all I get is a message from some guy telling me how to keep my septic tank from backing up..

Didn't get a phone call from him today, but then the BBQ at the ranch in Crawford last week was excellent.

AintRichyet, Did you call the Bush-Cheney campaign headquarters and tell them your phone number is on a do not call list and you are reporting Bush for harassment?

Hey Libra. I don't know what your problem is.
I listen to you repeatedly whine about other posters who attack you for no reason. You call them names for doing this to you. Then you turn right around and do the same thing to me.. I have never said anything to or about you on this board and yet you feel free to attack me every chance you have.. why? Could it be because I don't throw stones at Crowfarm, like you would like me to do? If you notice, I don't throw stones at anyone here... or didn't until a few minutes ago, when I replied to Twelvepoles nasty post.
I just wanted to point out to you, how you scream blue bloody murder, when you think someone is picking on you.. but you turn right around and do it to someone else, without provocation or reason. Doc

I got the call as well. I am on the do not call list......besides where I live we vote with paper and pencil and darken the ovals........pretty hard to screw that up.

well ... all in all, i WAS impressed ... i even ran toward my phone thinking, "is there a way i can RECORD this?!!" {but not ... i should haven't had answered it so it could go on my recordings/away} ......hmmm.. IF i had caller ID, i wonder if it would have said, "george"
I am not sure yet who I am voting for in NOV. ... I voted for dubya last time ... I think kerry is a kook ... but I wish dubya would bring a majority of the Iraqi coalition troops home and specialize train them in homeland security ... send a few more of them to hunting down snake-bin-laden. ....
I just don't know yet ...

maybe your call will come in the near future ... maybe it takes a lonnnnnnng while to auto-dial a gazillion phone numbers ....
the part that worried me was the he wanted me to fill out an 'absentee ballot' coming soon in the mailbox.
