You are exactly right. I responded in that thread. It's a hateful, nasty thread started by a hateful, nasty person. Consider the source. You know that I know you say a lot of things in jest. The other side cannot take the humor.

Cheryl - I'm not the other side but maybe you can explain to me the "humor" in continuously mocking the single status of a recent widow?
Sorry but I have read Crow for quite awhile and there is nothing humorous about the venom contained in the vast majority of her posts.
Perhaps you can explain to me the "humor" in serial name calling.
Personally, I could not give a damn what Crow says or thinks of me. I find it sad and more than a little pathetic that someone who possesses her level of inteligence has chosen to direct it in such a childish mannner. The only reason she started this thread is because Linda finally said enough and won't play her game anymore and now she is hoping for a new playmate/victim.
I actually am happy with my life, I come here in hopes of having intelligent conversation on relvent topics with a group who I, for the most part, respect even when we disagree. I have too much to do with my life to play this stupid little game that Crow so seems to relish.

I am a widow as well and I don't take comments to heart. I've recently learned to ignore negative or nasty comments made by people who don't know me personally. If you don't, you'll go through life angry and bitter. The only opinion that truly matters to me is the opinion I have of myself. And I like who I am so if other's don't - it's not my problem. It took a long time to get to that point, though.

First: Linda left herself wide open when she started analyzing me.
Second: If you follow the theme's of her posts they are all against the poor, free speech, the less fortunate, children (she has never denied that she advocated child torture in the thread on Iraq), the elderly. She thinks the elderly should "get over it, that's the facts of life" when there Medicare goes up. So she should take her own advice on the "recent"(?) widowhood and get over it. She can dish it out, she should take it.
Third: she advocates and applauds death wishes against me, and threats to interfere with my auctions.
As I said in another post, NORMAL people don't wish death on anyone.
I never have nor do I support people who do.
She does.
I truly do feel sorry for her but if we're going to start psycho-analyzing each other then I was spot on about Linda's problem (shriveled, dried up soul).
NORMAL people do get fired up and use naughty words.....
Linda just says nasty things without using naughty words, kind of like Hitler explaining his gas chambers to his priest.

Crow - this is the last time I will address you personally on these matters.
Linda has NEVER made a big deal about the death of her husband. I am the one who has been vocal about how offensive I find your comments. When you first made them a couple months ago I found them offensive and said so then. The fact that you continue to make them on a reguolar basis when they have exactly zero relevence to the conversations at hand, in my opinion, demonstates what a pathetic attention starved person you are and are indicitive of your posting style in general.
