I had thought that NJ was guaranteed for Kerry because we have a lot of tax receipients here. Today I pick up the newspapers and the front page news is that Kerry has dropped 20 POINTS in NJ and Bush is even or slightly ahead. This is without swift boat ads!
My nephew in CA is telling me that a LOT of CA is also Bush, the press only concentrating on LA and SF.

GREAT news....that they don't want to hear.
As I said in another post, I haven't seen even ONE poll, since the RNC convention, that shows kerry ahead.
For me, that's a first. I've never seen it where they all are agreeing kerry's got problems. And I personally, am enjoying this time to the fullest possible degree.

Just because you haven't seen them, doesn't mean they don't exist, Linda. Here, let me help you with that. Below you'll find a synopsis of 21 major polls taken since the RNC. If you look carefully, you'll notice the following:
Of the polls that indicate a lead, 9 give Kerry the lead and 9 give it to Bush. Go on ahead, count 'em.
Of the polls showing Bush leading, two give him a lead which is outside the standard 4 point margin of error.
Of the polls showing Kerry's lead, five are beyond the margin of error.
I made it big for you again, so you'll have no difficulty with it.

You can clutch at all the straws you want, but polls are not all equal. If you say "Gallup & Reuters have Bush ahead, but Moveon.org and Democracy Corp (????) show Kerry leading, so everything is "equal", you're delusional.
Scientific pollsters like Gallup, with their methodoligies and selective demographics, can be accurate within TENTHS.

I bet the McGreevy thing has left another bad taste in Newjerseyans mouth. What? They dont get to be the butt of national jokes already because of Newark and the turnpike? - Never mind there are lots of beautiful farmsland and other places in NJ.
....I think if they are for Bush, shows they might be fed up with democrats in general over there. But there has always been so much corruption in politics in that state!! Maybe its just the Lesser of two evils if Kerry only represents democrats, i.e. more corruption to them? ....jmo

If by the McGreevey "thing", you mean the big tax increases, the lowered state bond rating and graft, maybe.
If you mean the "picking on the gay guy" stuff dummies post here, no. Everybody and their dog knew he was gay.

Yes, profe, same link I provided on the other thread. Proving all the 'blue' has now changed to 'red'. Shows that since 8-29-04 the side who's ahead has made a total change ..ALL in Bush's favor. As have all the other polls I mentioned on the other thread.
It's lookin' great right now.
