oh boy, am i scared. another neo-con placing faith in a poll. give me a break. polls mean nothing but what the polling firm wants them to mean.

when will these crazy neonazicons realize it??? i am guessing after Kerry takes the lead. then they will be on here to discredit every poll that shows Kerry in the lead. It would still mean nothing.

I'll go as far as add the following:

This means just about as much as a 14 point lead for a Denver Broncos opponent when Elway was quarterback.

That lead means nothing because there is so much time left for Bush and Cheney to cut their own throats, even without the upcoming debates.

Yep, ebayauctionguy....since the RNC convention I haven't seen even ONE poll where kerry's leading. Haven't seen this before. Usually it does depend on who's taking the poll....

now they're ALL saying the same thing.

lindak also said, when speaking about polls, "A week is a HUGE amount of time for things to *totally* reverse themselves".

After the debates we will see a dramatic reversal!

Americans will run out of unemployment benefits and the bills start to pile up. And when they remain without a job, then the polls will really change.

And the ever charming Linda is so happy that:

More people will lose their jobs.

More people will sink under the poverty level.

More people will be without health insurance.

Slaughter will continue in Iraq and spread to other countries(OOOOOOhh doesn't she just love those prison guards).

The rich will get more tax breaks.

More seniors will not be able to afford health insurance in their greedy quest for food.

More poor children will have worse education and less food.

More pollution as the worst polluters get the green light.

Halliburton will have record breaking profits by screwing our servicemen and women.

Yup, linda will be dancing the happy dance!

Oh, I almost forgot those poor OB-GYNs who will lose their love with women (according to the great orator and mental giant, Bush)

Helen, I think these mean nothing... polls are so easily manipulated all they do is give people some warm and fuzzy feelings...

Only thing that will matter is Nov 2 after the polls close.

profe - Since you appear to want to deminish my enormous joy at the polls showing President Bush has moved from behind into a much better position in the polls....now leading kerry....maybe you could fill me in on which poll(s) show kerry in the lead. I don't remember you pointing out a poll to me recently. Please refresh my memory.

Since 8-28-04 all the normally used polls have shown Bush is ahead. That's close to two weeks. Here's the link to verify my statement.

http://www.pollingreport.com/wh2004.htm and please note on *this* list the ABC/WashingtonPOST poll now shows President Bush in the lead, as is what this thread is pointing out.

plus: rasmussen.com shows him ahead too.

edited to add:

the most recent polls from CBS, MSNBC/Newsweek and also show President Bush ahead. Then the one poll I'd never heard of, ICR's latest poll shows them at a dead heat...BUT says, "continued shift away from Kerry to Bush. That's GREAT news too.

I've said over and over and over again...that we all like to mention the polls when they favor them going the way we want them to be going. And guess what? They're VERY MUCH going the way I want them to.

Happy to. It's in the thread titled "NJ for George Bush????????" or something similar. You'll find it HERE.

In that thread, you said As I said in another post, I haven't seen even ONE poll, since the RNC convention, that shows kerry ahead. I posted the latest summary of 21 polls that I could find. Half of them give Kerry the lead. Go look.

Linda, I just looked at your link above to pollingreport.com, It's the same one I clipped and posted in the other thread.

You'll notice on that top poll summary that half of the listed polls give the lead to Kerry, and that more of Kerry's leads (5) are outside the 4 point margin of error than are Bush's (only 2). You must have decided along the way that any poll that gives the lead to Bush is a valid poll, and any which gives it to Kerry isn't!

profe - thank you, and as I mentioned in the other thread....IF you look only at the last two weeks [since 8-29-04]....it's all red...all for President Bush. Whereas before it was almost all for kerry. That's the GREAT chance I was referring to.

blairwitch - I couldn't agree more on Nov. 2. Just goes to show, as I previous have stated that from week to week things can change so quickly. [noting helen's comment]

It's just that I am SO happy to see that long list of 'blue' for kerry change into a long list of 'red' for this President. And to see the two polls from the Wash Post AND CBS who both are so anti-Bush do so well for him I couldn't control my joy.

I think between both the RNC AND the Swift Boat Vets...kerry's taken a *serious hit* this past couple of weeks.

happy....happy...happy..

The media is not only driving us nuts with the polls but all the he said she said speeches. I honestly think the media needs to take a vacation. One until November 2. Let the candidates speak without objection so maybe we can sort out the facts. That is if the facts are truth. Media bias is running rampit and I for one an sick of it. Let Kerry Campaign, Let Bush Campaign. Keep the wives out of it. I am not voting for a candidate because of the wives. The wives are just that wives. Get down to business so that on November 2 we can elect the right person to be President.

Polls mean a lot that is why I slowed way down making and replying to post on this board. Its a complete waste of time trying to reason with republican people that are self centered and cold hearted anti Christan. The much better way to beat Bush is to talk to people that don't have the "my way or no way attitudes." Talk to as many people as you can a day that don't have a very narrow view of their own tiny world they live in. So far this year my son and I have gotten a lot for people registered to vote, we have shown more elderly people how to get and make out an absentee ballot.

It really easy the next time you hear a complaint about gas prices, health insurance and health cost, outsourcing jobs, over 1000 troops killed in Iraq, 7000 troops wounded in Iraq, deficit, underfunded school programs. Just tell if you vote for Bush you are going to get a lot more of what you are complaining about now.

WE NEED A CHANGE VOTE FOR KERRY EDWARDS FOR A MUCH BETTER AMERICA
