All of these buildings are within The City of Detroit.
The Detroit Institute of the Arts. Been there! Very Nice.
The Detroit Science Center. I have been there a few time. Really cool place.
The Detroit Historical Museum. Been there too. Cool place for learning Detroit history.
Historical Fort Wayne. Built in 1701.
The Dossin Great Lakes Museum. Hosting shipping and maritime history. Permanent exhibits include such things as the anchor from the S.S. Edmund Fitzgerald
The Detroit Symphony Orchestra. Built in 1919. Very very nice. Been there several times. One of my favorite things to do in Detroit.

The Detroit Public Library. A beautiful marble building across from the Arts Center.
The Whitney Restaurant. A beautiful 3 story, 53 room mansion converted into a posh dining experience.
