Would like to see Boston and Astros but don't think that is going to happen, at least Boston didn't lose last night...

Any true sports fan was long ago alienated from baseball by the posturing buffoons in the alleged 'majors' and their antics.
And the NFL has reached just about the same point. Who cares which group of millionaires wins a game that appears scripted? Gambling? It's like wagering on the plot of a soap opera.

Twinkle toes,

There's an old saying in Tennessee — I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again." —George W. Bush, Nashville, Tenn., Sept. 17, 2002

On This Week with George Stephanopoulos, Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld declares: "the area… that coalition forces control… happens not to be the area where weapons of mass destruction were dispersed. We know where they are. They’re in the area around Tikrit and Baghdad and east, west, south and north somewhat."

Tuned in to the Boston-Yankee game last night around the 4th inning..the way the Yankees were hitting the ball and running around the bases, I thought there was a rain delay and it was batting practice !!

I used to watch baseball all the time. My boyfriend hates sports of any kind. I worked for a company that used to allow us to use their loge seats once a month. What a blast! Talk about living the high life. My brother used to get me tickets behind the Indians dugout - first row. I haven't been to a game in ages. BTW, that's how we measure the seasons around here. When baseball starts, it's spring. When football beings, it's fall. Once in a while, I'll sneak in a game on TV. My son watches it, but to sit in my son's bedroom and watch anything means suiting up in bio hazard gear. LOL!

Twelvepole-I hate to seem like a psychic again, but I dont think the cards will win in 5....
Im rooting for the Sox-have been most of my life. However I dont understand these people in Mass who keep voting in that vile fat bastard senator every year.Everytime I see that disgusting man, I feel I gotta take a shower.
Im a Republican,my wifes a democrat, one thing we never talk about is politics.Last summer were were at the Cape. She insisted on going into Hyannis and touring the Kennedy memorial. For some bizarre reason I agreed. Then she wanted to go on a boat ride in the harbor which goes by the Kennedy compound..now shes pushing it.We go by a small sailboat in the harbor and the Capt of the ship announces "this is Ted Kennedys boat",which right off the bat I know is a lie.First of all if he ever got on it, the damn thing would sink and 2nd of all I doubt seriously if he could drive a boat, because I know damn well he cant drive a car.
To top the summer off my wife really twisted my nuts by insisted I take her to a Barry Manilow concert, another as*hole I cant stand.I've come to the conclusion the b*tch must hate me...theres no other reasonable explanation for this course of action.
