He was speaking here in Marlton,NJ. We didn't make the cut to see him inside speaking but we waiting to see him land in a helicopter.

With sheer luck I got into the front row. At first we thought he was just going to land and go into the building to speak. He walked all the way over to us. He was just feet away.

He just did a quick wave to us then he went into the building.

We stood around deciding if we were going to stay and watch him take off. Just as we decided to stay, the secret service guys set up a PA system in front of us. At first we thought we were going to hear his speech.

That wasn't the case. Turns out he was coming back to talk to the crowd. All of us in the front row were searched with the wand and dogs.

He finally came out. He stopped to thank the local police officers, then he walked right in front of me! He made a quick speech and took off. It was really cool when he had the helicopter circle above us. People said they could see him waving but I didn't see it.

He looks exactly the same as he does on TV. He came off as a very warm and friendly person.

The only thing that put a damper on my day was a heavy set women jumped on my back the first time the Pres came up to the fence. I am a soft spoken person but this cow just ticked me off. I am barely 5ft tall! I yelled at her to get off me. She really hurt my back!

Other than that all the Bush supporters were nice to each other.

No comment on the Kerry supporters.......

Anyone interest in seeing pics, can email me at [email protected]

Ciao.

[speaking of President Bush] - He came off as a very warm and friendly person.

Many say that when making a comparison about how stiff and ill-at-ease kerry appears. More people can identify with a President who works hard on his own ranch, rather than a candidate who has to decide just which of the two-handfuls of mansions he's going to stay at. It's your average 'Joe' compared to those who think they're Mass. royality.

Right! Bush looks like the type that would sit down and have a few dozen beers with you - maybe a couple of snorts on the side, while talking about the meaning of hard work. Kerry looks the type that's more interested in getting the U.S. out of the gutter and back to it's pre-911 status by actually doing something. But I agree - the beer drinking, jovial type President would be more fun.

Yeah kraft, Bush could drink anyone under the table real quick.

President Bush... the only true choice for more failed policies.

This long time republican is voting for John Kerry!

I wonder how many daily drinking contests he goes through, Yeager? My guess would be 3 but on those pesky teleprompter nights, I would say 5.

I think it's terrible that you two continue to mention a drinking problem that ended over 15 years ago. You're slandering our President when you make such statements without proof of any drinking or drug use.

And don't think the elites don't drink and do drugs either....many do. They're the ones who can afford the higher priced drugs for 'social' enjoyment.

Where's your republican sense of humour, Linda?

Gee, I saw bush say something like this at a very expensive fund raising dinner "some people call you the elite but I call you my base".

I guess that's why the bush/cheney lie machine works so well with his base. Looks like they are all drunk or high and don't really understand what the bush/cheney gang is doing to America.

Not as terrible as you continuing to denigrate Kerry's life from about 30 years ago.

You're slandering our President when you make such statements without proof of any drinking or drug use.

Bush admitted he had a drinking problem. Do you deny that? Sort of like when he admitted Iraq had no WOMD and you deny that too.

No surprise the Canadian girls and the obnoxious one can't see the difference.

Yes Kiara he did admit it. Has Kerry admitted what he did in Vietnam other than say as a young man I served in Vietman which, BTW he says all the time. He never talks about the rest of his service and his connection to Jane Fonda. The way he got his purple hearts and when he threw his medals away.

That was a great story popnrock. How many posters in here can say the same about Kerry? I haven't heard one poster in here talk about seeing Kerry, but then maybe he doesn't rub elbows with the middle class.

Septembermom, sounds like you got sucked in and have now become a parrot for the bush/cheney lie machine. Geo Bush wouldn't make a good pimple on John Kerry's ass when it comes to Nam. Remember Kent State that is what times were like back then because of another bad poorly manged war just like Iraq is poorly manged today.

Vacationing on his ranch right before the nation was attacked is really hard work. I hope Bush enjoyed his long walks and long rounds of golf while Bin Laden planned his attacks on the U.S.

I normally do not respond to this kind of replies but.. this is the typical reaction that I expected.Very few of the Bush bashers have ever taken the time to try
and articulate a particularly logical reason why they hate Bush and/or his
policies. They aren't dissenting. They are engaging in character
assassination. I wouldn't call the Bush Bashers I saw at the rally (not a fund raiser) Kerry supporters. None of them could give you a reason why Kerry would make a better president.
"Anyone but Bush" is the reason my Hollywood friend gives me. So a dog catcher would make a better president in his mind......

Note: the only people who were arrested at the rally were The Bush Bashers. They dropped the F*ck bomb in front of kids and gave people the finger. Yep, they really gave you a reason to vote for Kerry.

Strange how when there are no WMDs found Linda says that evidence just hasn't been found YET.

But when there is no current evidence of substance abuse by Bush, the evidence situation is treated quite differently.

Bush is a liar, and a military deserter.

We need more people at Bush events hurling the F*** Yous to this liar and coward Bush.
