Will we know at the end of the day on November 2nd if Bush or Kerry won or do you feel we will be facing another situation like we did in 2000?

It's hard to say. Though unfortunately they are already having problems with the electronic voting machines in Florida...

About Florida, There was a man who was trying to vote early as allowed. His precinct wasn't up to par to allow everyone to vote. He said, this county has a head of elections that was appointed by the governor, who is the president's brother.

I have a strong feeling we will be seeing a repeat of what happened in 2000. Not only will it happen in Florida but in any state that has a close outcome.
Both sides already have lawyers in place to contest any close races.

I agree. I don't believe we will know anything at first. I really do believe we will have a repeat of 2000, no matter which party wins the election. The only way I will need a recount is if the Independent party or Homer Simpson wins.

I dunno. I don't think it will be as close as everyone thinks.
Does anyone know what the polls were saying around this time back in 2000? Was it this neck-n-neck then, or did one or the other candidates have a lead?

If it ends up at the Supreme Court again, there's no reason to think the same court that appointed Bush president in 2000 will do anything different. If anything, it looks like there are more states that may be at issue than there were the last time.
