Do you know the difference between a turkey sandwich and a blowjob?

Both, but I'll only eat the turkey and lots of cranberry sauce. Umm, can't wait.

If you enjoy the thought of all that cholesterol and goo that's injected into animals, building up in your system year after year until it gets to a point where you need to spend all your hard earned savings on your long term hospital care, be my guest. For me, there are other ways to show I'm thankful.

Come to think of it, a real boil it all night and bake it all day Smithfield Ham would be nice, too...I'll have to ask SWMBO how many are coming.

Gotta save the kid butchering till the last minute though, I hear rumors of a new boyfriend showing up...bwa-ha-ha!!!

Tofurkey!!!! Just kidding. I figured everyone would actually believe I would eat tofu turkey. I am tried and true Turkey. We tried to do seafood 2 years ago, and it was the only thanksgiving I have ever had anything but turkey. Needless to say, I will never make that mistake again. Turkey is for Thanksgiving, Ham, Pork Roast, or Rack of Lamb is perfect for Christmas, though I will never turn away turkey for Christmas either.

I with you Mah!! A little bit of both is a real Thanksgiving dinner! Some people even do fish dishes, lasagna, and everything else too!...so much food!!

Wonder though if many people can afford to do it up like that anymore?? Or if big families even get together that way, still?
I could be wrong but I think I've noticed a decline in enthusiasm for holidays over the years.

::a real boil it all night and bake it all day Smithfield Ham would be nice, too::

Now see... that was just plain wrong... too the point of damn near evil. There is just nothing like a real Smithfield Ham.

BTW - you mean your daughter didn't learn from the torture test the last guy was put thru, she's bringing you another one? I think she may have a touch of sadist in her... that or just just loves providing dad with some fresh meat for the holidays

Everyone gets together at my parents house for Thanksgiving. Mom, Dad, Aunt, Uncle and all the kids, grandkids, great grandkids.
I believe a total of 54 one year and everyone didn't show. (That was the year Grampa passed, his funeral was two days after, so everyone was in town.)
I always have to make scalloped oysters, mashed sweet potatoes, glazed sweet potatoes and cheesecakes. My cousin, Holly, makes most of the pies and desserts. (God, I'm getting hungry!)

Profe: You are very fortunate that you have your family around you. Mine is scattered in different states etc. You are mexican, arent you? The reason I ask is because I had some friends in CA and I went out there for a wedding and I had a blast!! Cousins and more cousins and inlaws...and they were wonderful loving people - they took to me like they knew me all their lives. The only thing was I ate so much mexican food all week (the good homemade stuff), that by the end of the week I wasnt feeling all that well - I guess my body wasnt used to it....:0\. (I remember my friend laughed and asked me if I wanted to go out to eat at a regular resturant! and i said yeah, maybe that'd be a good idea!)

neroter, I prefer latino, and you're right about Mexican parties! I bet what got to you was the carb overload. Next time, eat more carne asada, machaca etc. and go light on the tortillas and rice..you'll feel better when it's over.

fenix, she just accepts that who ever she brings home is going to have to run Papi's gauntlet. She probably does get a charge out of it, but she'd never admit it to me
I hear from my younger daughter (who's almost old enough to date, god help me ) that at least this one knows how to ride a horse...can't wait to see if he's any good with a skinning knife

I really don't think any boy who can't look his dinner in the
eye deserves either of my girls

Lost touch after I left that job (where I meet her as they worked for the corporate headquarters in CA and were sent down to NJ to train me on corporate procedures when they first opened the east coast division.) They had good positions with this co who did business worldwide and they got to travel alot..Now ya got me wondering if they're still there? Maybe I'll check out the web site..
