29-year-old is held for acts with lad, 8The Connecticut Post
STRATFORD
A 29-year-old woman was charged Friday with sexual assault after admitting she had a long-term sexual relationship with an 8-year-old boy, police said.
Tammy Imre, of Birch Drive, was arrested at her home Friday evening by members of the Connecticut FBI Violent Crime Fugitive Task Force.
The divorced mother of a 7-year-old daughter was charged with first-degree sexual assault, fourth-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor.
Imre was held in lieu of $100,000 bond pending arraignment Monday in Bridgeport Superior Court.
Police said Imre, a blond-haired woman who works as a secretary, told them she considers the 8-year-old her boyfriend and that she plans to marry him someday.
On Sept. 21, police said the boy's mother discovered a letter Imre had written her son, who police said is a playmate of Imre's young daughter.
In the letter, police said Imre states: "I don't want anyone but you! Now tomorrow it's supposed to rain, you can come over we can (you know what)."
Police said when they confronted Imre she readily admitted she had sexual relations with the boy. "I can't give a number, but it was a lot," she said of the number of their sexual encounters, police said.
Imre's daughter said she saw the boy doing "disgusting" things with her mother, according to police.
Police said the boy initially denied doing anything sexual with Imre because he was worried about getting her in trouble. But later, police said, he admitted having intercourse with her and other sexual behavior.
If convicted, Imre could serve more than 20 years in prison.
