Its Florida 2000 revisted! This is nucking futz! First count, Rossi won, a slim lead, but he did, automatic recount, he won, by 42. The democrats say this is a tie. (must be the new NEW math they do!) Sooooo, apparantly they raised the money (they have to pay) for a manual count of the entire state. Rossi was already certified Gov Elect. His thing was 'Let every LEGAL vote Count' Gregoire (opponent) says 'Let every vote count'

(theres a difference there ya know )

So here we go, I'm moving to a red state! LOL!

Democrats have largely outlined their legal strategy in a letter sent to Reed Wednesday.

Heard a little about this race on TV here in CA. You're right...it's just like FL in 2000. Most say a machine recount would be more accurate than hand counts anyway....but it won't matter....the dems will KEEP demanding a re-count UNTIL it comes out in their favor. VERY poor sports to say the least. Looks like IF they're going to win back any governing seats at all, they're going to have to try this tactic to do it. It's crazy...

How's your daughter doing, NTS? Hope that little one is staying put for the time being.

I guess the Ohio count is finally done. Bush won by 119,000 votes instead of 136,000.00. It is below the level of a recount. So Ohio is finally done. I hope I never work at the voting polls again during a major election. It is not fun.

People think it is alright to come in and show their drivers license with a different name on it then they gave you and then say oh I have a different ID at home with another name on it, I will go get that one.

Linda, you are so right... they can't understand that this country is moving to the right and they can't keep pace... has the democratic mantra changed any in the last 30 years or so?

I was stunned when a friend of mine said she voted for Bush this election...10 years ago she was about as liberal as you could get... well so was I at the time, I just got smarter quicker....anyway she is now a good moderate conservative...

AIN'T LIFE GRAND...

Looks like a pit of neonazicon vipers who think if their candidate wins the vote was fine.

If anyone else thinks they'd like a fair and legal recount then they're "poor sports".

Well, stupid, this isn't a football game or other sport, it's our countries most important and basic right , a fair vote.

If you think it was fair then quit whining about what others do.

But the people who didn't think it was accurate have a RIGHT to have a recount....see, you nazi's, we still do have a few rights left in this communist leaning country.

Recounts are fine, but there is a time to say 'I concede' This will make it the Third Statewide recount. The head of the Dem party said:'I really believe that Gregoire won' so they are going for a third statewide manual recount, and this is where they can scrutinize the ballots, say, it looks like a mark here, and they decide the voters intent.

LINDA, the shower is today!! By her count possibly 60 people! And she is still getting contractions now and then, we went shopping yesterday, and she got them, I predict she will have it before Christmas. Her maternity leave starts Dec 27th, but I think she'll have her long before then. And a Big Baby it will be!!

Oh you know what? this will be the SECOND statewide recount.. my bad. They tallied up after Nov 2 Rossi won, but by a very slim lead, so it was a mandatory recount, he won again, again slim, but he still came out ahead. This one is a Democrat sponsored recount, they pay the million to do it.
