How could a supposedly good person pretend to be a bad person, for years? What's the point?

EASY! He (she) WAS a bad person!

What other point would there be?

Crowfarm

I don't think twelve was a bad person. I think he said what he could to get a rise out of people. Personally, I enjoyed arguing with him. Kept me on my toes.

KD, to answer your question: Perhaps he pretended to be bad for the attention? It's hard to say. Even though he's infuriating most of the time, I used to look forward to the debates he'd start. You have to admit, it's going to get mighty boring in here without him. Then again, there's always Bear.

What happened to him? Is he some kind of legend here? Nobody can make a fool of crow. It only depends on how you want to look at it. I have posed many quesitons to 12 and he has refused to answer them. Now that is a fool.

"Why Did Twelve Bother?"

From a paranoid perspective, the possibilities are unlimited. Sometimes, he reminds me of Billy Joel's song, "The Entertainer".

Maggie.

Twelve did post that way for the attention he desperately needed.

He said he didn't believe most of what he posted, but loved to post for effect.

And he wasn’t posting nearly as often before he said he was leaving. My theory is that he finally realized that some of us were right about the war and the government because everything that was posted became the truth and he finally saw the reality of it all.

And he couldn’t face admitting it to us and there was nothing left to fight for here because he agreed with us and was on our side so he deliberately got himself booted off by being nasty. That’s my thoughts and if I’m wrong I expect him to come back some day and kick my azz.

Ya know, it just boils down to sexism....what with some posters ASSuming twelve was a guy.

What short term memory loss you all have!

He posted disgusting, meaningless, pointless, HATE-Filled posts with absolutely no substance and now you're making him sound like some poor mis-understood saint!

Ya know, if a woman poster did that she'd get a whole thread devoted to voting her the most hate-filled poster.

Think it over, especially you so called Liberals!

And, just when twelve goes into another astral plane and starts posting like the Swami Jack....who drops in with a totally bizarre post about singing around the christmas tree....linduh. And then BOTH disappear. Wow, linduh must really like California...such a long visit Just as long as twelves been gone. Maybe she just is too heart-broken over losing one of her two slobbering lap dogs.

If you believe she's in CA then I'm the reincarnation of the Hawaiian Princess Comatushnookitaki and I have some islands in the South Pacific you may want to buy.

Linda mentioned she was in CA awhile ago, because her son was there. And her DIL is expecting, so makes sense she is there so long, and with the holidays, plus the fact she is from CA.

Why is it you guys keep making those comments about crowfarm?

I bet you like it each time she answers because you secretly want a stronger woman that can speak her mind, right? I think she fascinates you.

Have you libs ever heard of the concept of "Baiting". Twelve got pretty good at geting all you libs to "Bite" on his posts.

Yeah, You too...Bubba..

You bit hook line and sinker.. how did you feel when he wrote that he had made it all up! LOL...All that time you thought he was agreeing with your issues...then he says he was just making it all up.. he really is a pacifist and even likes homosexuals... kind of makes you Twelve-followers look kind of stupid, now doesn't it.. HA

Now who was the bigger fools.. the people who fought against his stupidity or the ones who embraced it and thought he was being honest... suckers!!
