Got a team next week you really hate? Let me cheer for them. I seem to be a bit of a curse. There were only three games I gave a damn about this weekend. San Diego.... they lost.
Denver......... they lost (OK - No big shock but still)
Green Bay.... They lost.

I'm almost afraid to mention that I think that seeing the Steelers go the Bowl with a rookie QB would be ...um... not objectionable

Maybe I should root for Randy Moss. I respect the Vikings - they played a great game and I like Culpepper but Moss is not doing himself any favors these past two weeks. Any bets on a fine tomorrow?

Fenix a fine would be to easy for him, unless it would be a million dollars. He needs a suspension. I cannot understand Tice and the owner of the piece of crap, the vikings, not putting him on suspension for this and next game. But of course, they want to win and with the antics he did during the game does not look good for that team. I was scanning, but did he really moon the crowd? What do you think his IQ is?

His teammates, as they say stand by him.

Yes root for the Vikings...

Steelers are I hope win it all.....

Libra - he did not *actually* moon the crowd. What he did was go to the back of the end zone, turn his back to the crowd, "pantomime the act of pulling his pants down and then bent over and wiggled his butt at the crowd. Then there was on field after game interview where he complained about the press making a big deal about him walking of the field the week before and ended the interview with a curse that would have cost the network a nice little fine had it they not been on enough of a delay to be able to bleep it.

If I was a Fox producer I would simply tell my commentators that the only time I wanted to here his name was if he caught a pass. Other than that there would be no mention of him or any of his actions whatsoever and let my camera people know that they need not bother with sideline or celebration shots of him. Treat him like a second string special team member. If he does not want press, I would abide by his wishes...totally and completely,

Near - I didn't really care about that game. Both teams are so horrible it was irrelevent. I hae to admit in that one though I was intrigued by the Faulk/Jackson story. Faulk is one of those guys you wish the league was filled with. Pure class.

I am really so sick of football and the antics of the players. Here they receive millions of dollars to go out and play and then they do childish things. They are payed to play that game and if I would have done those things in the work force I would have been out the door.

When Moss did that I don't understand why a flag wasn't thrown, I saw it on a rerun, but still he might get a fine, but a fine hurts none of those players as they are millionaires. What would hurt those players is game suspension and I bet in a hurry they would stop doing that. I also blame the coach for his antics but tice is one of them, ex footgall player, and he probably thought it was cute. I would agree to a suspension of any football player no matter what team they belonged to, including a Packer player.

I get the viking news so I am waiting to see what is written.

Oh well there is always another day and game.
No use crying over spilled milk.

I think that is why I wa so intrigued by the Faulk/Jackson story in St Louis. I mean, we've always know that Marshall Faulk was a different kind of player but what he has done with Steven Jackson is a very clear sign of just what kind of man he is. Here is a kid that was brought in to take over Faulks position and rather than begrudge him or be in fear of him he has taken Jackson under his wing. He's taught him the ropes, freely shared field time, helped him deal with all of the attention that has come with a rather incredible level of success as a rookie and this last week when everyone wanted to talk to the two time Super Bowl champ about the teams chances this year he declined all interviews and said that Jackson should be the focus of attention.

I don't know much about Jackson prior to his pro career but I can say that after watching his interviews he's shown himself to be a soft spoken humble "kid" with a great deal of grace and class as well. You have to wonder how much influence Faulk had in that respect as well.

Kinda gives you hope.

What about the antics of the fans? Moss was just giving the Packer fans back what the Packer fans do to all the visiting teams as they leave Green Bay. Is it not customary for Packer fans to actually moon (bare butt checks and all) to the visiting team's bus as it pulls away?

Where is the Green Bay police? Shouldn't the police be giving out tickets for indecent exposure?

Okay Logansdad. I want you to moon your boss tomorrow and see what happens.

This football player was at work. Remember a 5 million dollar a year player. Who is paid to play the game. Also remember what he did the week before. Fans, both packers and vikings fans. paid to get into the game. $100+ a ticket. Some paid $200.00 a ticket. This wasn't in the parking lot and if it was we wouldn't have heard anything about it. It was in his workplace the gridiron. Now when you get to work tomorrow go moon your boss and see what happens.

This game should have been a tribute to Dante Culpepper for the way he played the game not the antics of a low life player. He took the spotlight and turned it on himself as he does most often. He is not a team player. Poor player he is not getting the spot light so he goes out and does foolish things.

Is It? Can you speak from experience but by only what you read. Do you believe everything you read? Dungy was coach of that highly rated team the Bucs and what they did to the Packers on the field is major than the fans mooning the players, if they did that.

I have been to Packers games and have not seen that so I cannot say it is customary. And furthurmore the team buses are away from the fans.

So far this week I am 3-0. We'll see what happens this afternoon. To tell you the truth though, I;m not all that invested in the late game. Both are great teams. I guess I should go with the "Pats will be easier to beat than the Colts" logic and go for them.

I think it's alternating thing... next week I need to cheer for the teams that I actually want to lose then in the Bowl I get to cheer for who I want to win again.... or is the other way around since there is a two week break beween conference champioships and the Super Bowl ..........

I think the fates just like messing with my head.

Libra get over it. You and your religious morals think everything you disagree with is not acceptable. He didn't pull his pants down and show his ass. There is more suggested sexual scenes on "Desperate Housewives". How about Cheney's famous "F"-word that was used last summer. Which is worse?

Moon anyone you want. You will get arrested for indecent exposure. On second thought why don't you do it in a day care center. You will be arrested for child molestation. Moss did not expose anything. But of course you do not see the difference.

As for Dungy I will believe his word over some biased Packer fan who can't accept the fact their beloved fudgepackers are out of the playoffs and now has nothing to do until August. It sad when a someone's life revolves around football.

Maybe if your man Farve does not choke in the playoffs, your beloved fudgePackers would still be playing.
