Johnny Carson, the "Tonight Show" TV host who served America a smooth nightcap of celebrity banter, droll comedy and heartland charm for 30 years, has died. He was 79.

Maggie, after I posted that, I realized it might have come off wrong. I meant that it seems like everyone that dies, dies of cancer anymore. I didn't mean anything personal by it.
