because not sure what to do here. We went to an estate sale, and Mike bought all this PT Boat stuff, just not stuff, the guy that passed away was the historian for one section? of the PT boats (looks to be a lot, different 'nicknames') Well, we do know the books are going on ebay. And the framed pictures, but, with all this is a huge notebook, that looks like a manuscript by this historian. The family did not want it back! So, is the right thing to look up a 'PT Boat association'? and give them this what I think is a manuscript?

The others are going on ebay, I think. There are a lot of tapes that are transfers from reel to reel, they are movies of training, newsreels etc about the PT boats. On these is it OK on ebay to sell? They are handwritten on the label, but we viewed a few and they were the real old newsreels of the day, dating 44-48., transferred onto VHS.

Thanks in advance

Near, there is a group of WWII Vets here that are restoring a PT boat. They have a web page & I'll try to locate it for you. I know they were looking for any memorabilia to do with their boats.

"Why, it appears that we appointed all of our worst generals to command the armies and we appointed all of our best generals to edit the newspapers. I mean, I found by reading a newspaper that these editor generals saw all of the defects plainly from the start but didn't tell me until it was too late. I'm willing to yield my place to these best generals and I'll do my best for the cause by editing a newspaper." --Robert E. Lee

Here is the link to PT 309 under restoration in the Houston area:

http://www.pt-309.org/

On the left hand side is a menu with a "Contact" page

And then there is the Chester Nimitz Pacific Naval Museum in Fredricksberg Tx has a restored boat {PT309}

I/m sure either one of them would love to have the manuscript.

Have them make note of you as a conrtibutor & keep me updated.
