My portable computer decided last night to give me fits...Outlook Express barfed it's entire contents to heaven knows where. The system seems unstable as well, time for some diagnostics and troubleshooting which I don't have time for.
Our whole house air conditioner stopped working last Thursday, the temp is about 80 today with a humidity level of 98%. The carpet feels wet, the cats are moping around, it rained all night to boot. Bleah...
Another couple I know is getting divorced...that makes 6 couples in the past 3 years, almost our entire "peer" group of friends.

Well at least the Browns won. My hubby is a big Browns fan, too, since he's from Ohio.
I can relate to those days you just want to crawl back into bed and sleep for about another 12 hours or until all problems resolve themselves, whichever comes first. It's looking rather Monday-like over here, too.

Fanning tstorms, tropical downpours, & 94+ heat up from SW (short for sweatbox) Fl for you cold, dry folks.
Meya, if you have some portable fans, put them on the floor, and crank them up to high. It'll help dry the carpet.

I knew I should have gone back to bed! Now my cd changer in my car is jammed, I can't get the cartridge out that my son has his music in. That makes 3 things broken...
Arghh! It is so muggy and sticky, the heat makes my eye trouble and "weak as water" feeling act up, I'm headed for my bedroom where we have a small window air conditioner. The whole house one doesn't work well for our master bedroom since it was an addition, so we use a little one for it.
I'm gonna try the Dell diagnostic floppy on my portable and see if I can figure out what is wrong with it.
