There is speculation that Bush will pardon Scooter Libby later this year or in early January before his trial starts.
What are your thoughts?
Yes, I am quiet aware of all the pardons Clinton gave before he left the White House many of which I do not agree with.
With that said, with all the scandals within the White House this year, if Bush does pardon Scooter, I think this will be just another one of those "business as usual" themes from the Republican Party. It will only hurt Bush further.
Absolute faith has been shown, consistently, to breed intolerance. And intolerance, history teaches us, again and again, begets violence.
