How do you tell a Democrat from a Republican? If that question isn’t hard enough for you let’s add the challenge of keeping your answers in a humorous vein (as opposed to a jugular vein).
The water glass test – hand a half glass of water to a:
Democrat – “This glass is half full.”
Republican – “Who the heck drank half of my water?”
How does a Democrat become a Republican?
One day when reading a newspaper article about a new government program the sudden realization occurs – “Wait a minute, that’s my money they’re spending!” A new Republican is born.

A Democrat and a Republican are walking down a street when they both spot a young, beautiful, well-built woman walking towards them.
The Democrat stares and say, "Would I like to screw her!"

It's a question of Whom Would You Choose?
Example Situation: If you were a soldier and you were marching off to battle and you were made to pair-up with another soldier and you had to count upon that other soldier to protect your back, would you choose a Republican or a Democrat?
Considering that Democrats have shown that when one of them is in trouble they all come running to the rescue and stick together through thick and thin versus the Republicans who are absolutely baffled by this behaviour: just look what they did to Newt Gingrich.
It wouldn't be hard for me to make a choice.

Well, it's clear that both believe that the government has a right to intrude into your life as they see fit- the only difference is that the Democrats are the ones with their hands in your pocket while the Republicans are the ones with their noses in your bedroom.

My youngest son asked this just a few years ago. The simplest answer I could figure (probably not real accurate).
Republicans try to help businesses so they in turn can help the people (i.e. jobs, service, products, etc). Whereas the Democrats go directly to the people.
