I met you here at AW and we have had a lot of fun here. Spent a lot of time here...even adopted each other once or twice.
I have seen you at other places...you have never been less than a class act.
As far as I am concerned you have the right to come to AW or any other board and post without being put on the spot about who you think the alter ego of an anon ID might be. I don't see where any of us have to answer what suspicions we have. It was uncalled for.

I'd like to set something straight, then you can all flame me if you still want to.
First of all, there was nothing personal about my asking Chyna about the Parrot. If Gaffan showed up, I would have asked him. Or anybody else who's still there but we see infrequently. I was interested in their perspective, that's all. They're the only people we haven't heard from with regard to this -- and yet they are the ones who are directly affected.
Chyna posted an answer. She said the Parrot was a jerk. It was sort of a dodge, but I took her point and I didn't press the matter. I didn't come back and say, "No, no, that will not do." I let it slide. I can take a hint. But even so I got no impression that she was offended by my question or the fact that I asked it.
But then just 22 minutes later she edited the answer away. To anyone coming fresh to the board it would have seemed that my question was out of line because Chyna appeared to be ignoring it. But that's not what happened originally.
Naturally I wondered what had changed, and so I asked. All I could think is that maybe the BombShelter people had an agreement not to discuss it in public (since so few of them have) and that she reconsidered on account of it.
Those of you who have a firm grip on board history know that I have never had a cross word or dispute with Chyna -- in fact, it was Chyna who invited me to Gaffan's after the AR closing. I certainly have no ill will towards her now.
If I'm guilty of anything, it may be a lack of tact. Perhaps I shouldn't have been so fast with my question. Maybe I should have let her get comfortable first. I guess I just jumped the gun. As krs noted in that thread, I'm largely closed off to the e-mail component of the boards. The only information I get is what we all read right here on the public screen. I saw an opportunity to ask a question and leaped on it.
Chyna, if I made you feel bad or uncomfortable, I'm sorry. Hope it doesn't change the good relationship we've enjoyed up till now.

Granny, till now I didn't fully realize that you were a member there. It's not like I regularly go back to the threads that mentioned the "list" and check. I knew there were about ten or twelve, but only a few names really stuck in my memory. By the same token, I'm aware that three or four people left voluntarily but of those only diana and earl's name come to mind .
