Good morning,

We are new to Vendio and I have found some inherent problems.
1. Vendio addmitted a problem with sizing your 'logo';
2. Vendio does not recognize .ht files that yahoo uses;
3. There is some issue with the 'domestic insurance' and eBay........

Anycase, either I set it incorrectly or there is an issue I need to bring to Vendio's attention. Our shopping cart is set up so if a buyer wants to empty it and start over, they are required to fill out ALL the information first BEFORE it will empty.

Any suggestions on how to simply empty it without the buyer having to all that?

Thanks in advance,
Klaus

Hi Klaus,

We're just a bunch of layabouts here in the round table. We mostly drink too much, tell off color jokes and hiss at each other. You might want to post this in the Ebay Outlook or other forum for more responses. Or maybe somebody who knows how to actually USE vendio will drop by and help you. Who knows? Welcome anyhow and if you want, drop by in your spare time and join the fun.

Klaus - go to Vendio Services and then scroll down to Sales Manager Merchandising Edition and Image Hosting. They will help you out.

Hello Klaus,

1. We are aware of the logo resizing problem and are working on correcting it. In the meantime, you may work around the problem in this way:

a. Go to "Items" --> "Store Designer" --> "Customize".

b. Go to "Advanced" --> select "Enable Advanced Mode".

c. Click on the logo image area, select "resize image" and resize to the desired dimensions.

d. Click on the image again and select "Edit file source".

e. Add the height and the width parameters with desired dimensions under the image tag of the html and save the changes. In order to do this you will need to add html between:

border="0"

and

alt="Store Logo"

The specific html that needs to be added (where 500 is the width you would like for the logo and 100 is the height you would like for the logo) is:

width="500" height="100"

2. Please let us know in more detail for exactly what purpose you are trying to use an .ht file, and in exactly what way you are having trouble.

3. What problem are you having with your domestic insurance and eBay? Please be specific.

4. I tried to duplicate the problem you reported with the shopping cart, but I was unable to do so. What exactly happens when you add an item to the shopping cart, and then change the "1" to a "0" and click somewhere else on the page. Do you get an error?

Regards,
Nathan
