they came up with a new scheme. If you have a health plan it is basically an "untaxed benefit or income" from your employer. Guess what comes next.

I have mixed feelings about it. I do believe there should be at least some sort of baseline coverage for all citizens, and one way or another, we're all going to pay for it thru taxes. I also believe that the fact that commercial insurers are so opposed to it speaks volumes about it's need.
I had blood work done recently and the lab that did the work sent the claim to the wrong company and so it was kicked back. A routine physical blood panel. They sent me a bill for 1250 dollars. After picking up my teeth off the floor I called them and corrected the insurance claim business and they resubmitted it to the right coverage. I got a statement of benefits later that indicated that my insurance had paid a total of 79 dollars to settle the claim.
What's wrong with this picture??? The system is broken. I applaud efforts to fix it.

The system is broken currently, and I do believe that people should not be denied healthcare. Currently hospitals pay for it in other ways, the uninsured go to the emergency room for any problem because the hospital won't deny them. That could be handled much cheaper if they could be covered.
