Yes, I saw this coming about three months ago. I notice it when my palpay password didn't work. I wanted to withdraw money from my account and my password came up wrong. I email paypal that same night. They reply back, it will take 5 days. That meant they, Paypal will be holding my money for five at least 8 days, and collecting interest as well. Somehow the New Password they same me again didn't work! Now another 8+ days was going to go by with them holding my money. Well I had their telephone # and gave them a call. I ask their support how do you (Paypal) make money without charging Fees, the support said we make money by the three days it takes to get to your account!. Well that was O.K. But I did said why don't you just charge a set fee of $0.10 cents per transaction. They said that sounds good. Now that I receive an email stating a fee of $.25 cent plus 1.9 percent added transaction fee is going in place. I will need to cut out all the Paypal logo's with my smaller auctions from ebay. No way will a $10.00 auction on ebay make any kind of profit.
I believe a $0.10 cent fee will add up faster then a $0.25 cent fee plus 1.9 percent
added fee. Wait-up Paypal, bussines will be lost real fast. You Palpay may never see your customers again, once these fees are in place.
