This format/debate was better than the rest. I still can't develop large enthusiasm for either candidate, but at least I feel a clearer sense of who they are, and what they believe.
I think I'll vote for the Vice President I like best.
Watching all of this with my kids (8 and 13, and fairly sophisticated on issues as the local schools are making homework out of it) who despise both candidates on sight, loathe them further on sound, and have each independently expressed further distaste upon completing web research. That's a bit depressing.

The debate hasn't aired out here yet but I'll be watching it later...thanks for the headsup krs, I kinda figured your monkey scenario would ring true, lol

mybiddness, ROTFLMAO!
And krs I had to laugh out loud last night because watching the debate I had monkey images in my head thanks to you... hehehe Every time W. got that 'look' when Gore had him against a wall, he looked just like a puzzled little monkey!
You know I'm surprised that Gore couldn't find a way during either debate to slip in a little jab about the cocaine. Surely the opportunity presented itself.
I did think W. emerged with more egg on his face than Gore last night.
