Hi. This is the 5th time in a month that I have burned my supper while listing on Ebay. A great batch of mushrooms and onions in a rich Beef marinade/stock which had cooked for 10 hours in a crock pot. Oh Well.

There's a reason why cartoons of computer users always show delivery pizza lying around! LOL.

I had some eggs on the stove to boil once and got busy listing and forgot about them till it was too late, lol... burnt dried up pans are best cleaned by chucking them

My computer is only a few feet from my stove. Why, I can even remember to get my cup of tea when it's done steeping.Never burn dinner unless I go out to garden, then all bets are off! Small houses are a blessing and a curse.

Yes, I've burnt supper while busy listing - it was really awful cause we were forced to go out to eat... nothing thawed ya know. I'm thinking about doing it more often.

Now THAT I've done too... not had anything thawed out. I look at the clock and it's 5 p.m. and I'm just remembering to take the chicken out to roast... sigh... fortunately we have an IHOP about a mile down the road and it's really sad but the waitress there actually knows me by name, lol

Has anyone else noticed that IHOP (International House of PANCAKES) has started calling their pancakes hot griddle cakes - I guess they think that's a nifty little marketing gimmick. IT'S STILL A PANCAKE!

I do love to eat there though -

Not paranoid anywhere else but here.

You all cook? Seriously, I was just wondering yesterday if it would be possible to run a networking cable to the kitchen. Then I could sit my laptop on the counter and still work while cooking.

I don't think hubby would go for it at all. He expects me to walk the 15 feet into the living room where the main computer is. What a spoil sport. He just doesn't understand at all.

Just call it your attempt at Cajun cooking:
Blackened Tofu Jambalaya with lagniappe! my speciality!

Meya ROTFL I'm anxiously awaiting the invention of those Jane Jetson buttons that you push and dinner pops out for you!
