I have been desperately trying to find a wholesaler for something I can sell. I have made contact with a few local dealers, but they are much too expensive!
I even went so far as to buy one of those so-called "Wholesale Source CD's" off of eBay. I was very cautious though as it seemed all hype and no substance. My suspicions were confirmed when the CD arrived. It was all dead links and wrong numbers. I physically wrote to at least 18 "wholesalers", all but about 4 came back to me. What a waste of time, effort and postage!!!
I am so disapointed!
Anyone have any suggestions on where to buy things--new or used? I shop at garage sales when I can, but there are slim pickings by the time I get there (usually at 6:00AM)!!!
Where are the best places to find fresh things to resell (new or used)? Any help on locating new sources would be appreciated. Thanks!

Do a search on eBay of any of these key words:
Lot
Dealer Lot
Dealer's Lot
Box Lot
Clearance
Closeout
Inventory Reduction
Going Out of Business
When you make a bulk auction purchase, always ask the wholesaler if there is anything else he/she has for sale that you might be interested in. One eBay wholesaler I've been dealing with for over a year now often e-mails me with offers before he lists on eBay. From our past dealings he know exactly the types of items which might interest me.

Right now, you can rake in money beyond your wildest dreams by contacting a Taiwanese manufacturer of American style pocketwatches and selling them in seperate listings, as many as you can put up at a time. The watches shouldn't cost you more than $1.50 each, and you can sell them all day as fast as you are capable for $14.95.

Try not to be limited in your thinking. People will collect anything and everything. Reading the wanted ads in the antique trade magazines is an eye opener!

And if you want to bug clear out, try the Medical listings at Liquidation.com. Act fast, and you can pick up a lot of 4,000 piszczels for just $101, a savings of $79,899. How's THAT for a bargain? (I have no idea what they are, but must note that seeing "used" and "bone" in the same listing cooled my ardor for this particular deal.) However, there's lots of other kinds of goodies on the site that may strike someone's fancy.

Speaking of Liquidation.com, have you checked out the shipping on some of the items? $700 to ship a thousand leather cell phone covers? Wow...
