My guess:

Gore wins convincingly

Hillary wins in NY

Not Kerryann on eBay

You could very well be right. Dubya is ahead (oh so slightly) in the polls of likely voters, but several key states are up for grabs and a couple of the biggies are leaning toward Gore. But I sure hope you're wrong...

I can't say - afraid I'll jinx it. But, I think the right candidate will win!

Bush wins hands down. He is gaining in the polls steadily now, and will pick up more points over the next few days. The latest Gallup Poll is Bush 47% Gore 43% with a +- of 2%.

Democrats need a net pickup of five seats to control the senate.

Democrats will have to overcome the advantages of incumbency to defeat Sens. Rod Grams of Minnesota, Bill Roth of Delaware, Slade Gorton of Washington, John Ashcroft of Missouri, Spencer Abraham of Michigan and Conrad Burns of Montana.

Republicans say defeating five incumbents is virtually impossible for the Democrats. The last time either party lost two incumbents in an election cycle was in 1986. (this info pulled from MSNBC.com because they explained it much better than I could)

I don't who will win but I hope it will be Gore. I did receive a letter from none other than Barbra Bush today telling me how wonderful her son was...how smarmy! Trying to use your mother to get the womans vote. YUCK makes me want to barf! Not to mention they didn't do their research very well ..she seems to think I am in her generation and is trying to scare me as a "senior citizen" into voting for GW. Heck,I'm not even 50 yet!! Same age group as her little son.

I wish all these people who will vote Nader instead of Gore would get with the program. Would they really rather have Georgie Bush?

JMHO

The Democrats don't have a prayer of taking the Senate. But the House is a real possibility (unfortunately)...

And I agree that Bush will likely take the White House. His supporters are energized while Gore's are rather ambivalent. That's why they are neck-and neck among registered voters but Bush is ahead among likely voters.

I voted early today. The guy who runs the polls said he has never seen a turn out for early voting like there has been this time.
There usually isn't a line to speak of but he said they have been lined up out the door every day this time.
I love to vote and just happened to be in the courthouse for jury duty so I figured I'd get
my voting done.
Of course they didn't pick me for jury duty
I never get picked!!!!

You actually WANT jury duty? Geez.

I think the Prez race is too close to call, but am betting that Gore will win in the end. Am curious to see how many votes Nader gets though.

I never had one, and I didn't want one, and I don't, so now I do...

I saw a Nader ad on the national news tonight. Apparently he's stepping things up for the last week - running ads in 30 states. I'd love to be a fly on the wall and hear what Gore really thinks about the possible threat.

Netlawhopeful:
Yes I love Jury duty. Not just because it is an obligation but because I love to see the system at work and love to be a part of it.
By father used to say you loose your bitching rights if you don't vote or participate in the process.
Everyone I know has been on at least one interesting jury.
My husband was on one with a famous basketball player was involved.
I have been called 12 times (about) and have only been picked once and that was for a public intoxication thingy.
Out of the 165 people they called for jury duty tuesday only 36 showed up. How sad is that
