Luxury armchair maker La-Z-Boy and software giant Microsoft Corp. officially launched a living room throne for the Internet age, January 9, 2001, complete with computer jacks and equipment for surfing the Web on a television set. Dubbed the 'Explorer,' the seat comes with a Microsoft WebTV receiver, wireless keyboard and two free months of internet service, which enables Internet surfing, e-mail and interactive programs on a regular TV.

The WebTV part doesn't excite me...does it have jacks, etc. for regular laptop?

Also, how much does this beautious thing cost? Does one have to take out a second mortgage to afford it?

Not exactly, Nettak -- I was referring to the one that flushes. Ask krs about it...

Yes, the moderator version. Bleak, but necessarily function specific.

Ah, the Pattaylor model
I remember the first time krs posted that (and if my memory serves me, he did so in the Moderator's Corner) I laughed so hard my sides hurt.

krs,

How did you worm your way into my office? I always lock the door.

BTW folks...there are 346 days left till Christmas. I'd love to redecorate.

Forget that idea, Pat, you'll have no personal claim on that office. Anyone can see that it's impossible to raise the seat.
