I wonder if there will be a scandal with this President? He had some interesting sniffs with his nose during the debates........

I don't think it's so much a question of if there will be a scandal, but rather when.

I don't think Bush in interesting enough to spark a scandal. He'll just piss people off... including fellow Americans, China and Russia.

Probably some scandals, odds are good, but with the recession and the new theocracy and censorship, we'll probably scarcely notice.

bobbysoxer - I didn't know that. I wasn't paying attention to politics back then. My priorities during Bush Sr.'s presidency were more along the lines of making my hair really big and hanging out with friends after school.

Of course, I did go off to college during his second term, so if it happened then I really have no excuse for not paying attention.

Clinton might have done some bad things, but he was elected by the people. Stealing an election is a much bigger offence. His days are numbered!

chum....Thank you, Thank you, Thank you

Starr tried to crucify the former president...Yet, it is perfectly OK for Rev Jessie Jackson to have a "love child", outside of his marriage, (and pay 10 grands a month to support it?}...The hypocrisy of it all! Mr. Roosevelt, Mr. Kennedy and so many others, have had affairs...It seems to be a liability which comes with the job

The lying under oath was wrong, yes...The affair? I could not care less...as long as the job gets done.

Heard something funny on the news:

It would seem that before vacating the White House, the office staff removed the W from all of the computer keyboards.... So Bush can only be a plain Bush....which we already knew...

Bush can't be decked out like that at the White House as the great pics that were shared in this thread demonstrate, because he has a ridiculous dress code now at the White House.

Have any more?

Shosh

I heard about the "w's" te he he.....
I do wonder how much of that is true, though. During the campaign, junior made a big thing about www aka worldwide web, being named after him so it could be possible that his buddies are playing on that. As if.....

He has a dress code for the White House?

Ok, how 'bout this one:

Btw, did you happen to catch him dancing with his daughter where he almost ripped her top off? LOLOL I heard Leno saying last night something about even Gore being a better dancer.

"Nothing that Bush could do will EVER equall the messes that Clinton/Gore have done...."

nor will he ever be considered a good President as Clinton is.

Do you know that the polls say that if Clinton had been allowed to run again - he would win?

Bush's first week in office and he already took away all funds to foreign nations that support aborition. Then here comes Ashcroft and the two new supreme court justices.

For all of you Bush supporters - you better be ready to defend all of the rights he is set to take away from your daughters.

Not only is he boring - but he always has this bland look on his face. Get excited will you!!! Clinton may have had his fidelity problems - but he was a great speaker. As soon as Gore utters a word and talks so sllllllooooowwww I want to yell at the screen - liven up ding aling - you are our leader.

Shosh

These first few days may be boring but they sure are being destructive.

kiheicat

The dress code went into affect the other day. "They" made a big thing about Reagan staying in his full suit at the White House while he was president when Clinton was allegedly tarnishing the image of the White House. In my opinion there are other ways and many ways to tarnish the White House.

I missed the dancing with Junior and his daughter. I didn't watch much of the inauguration. However I did catch parts of his trip down Pennsylvania Ave. I was amazed by the negative crowds. When I saw them I predicted he was going to be a terrible president for all people.

When he took away the federal funding for Planned Parenthood my first thought was that it was not very bright. This is not a tactic to unite the country but to advance a hidden agenda. In my opinion his true colors was revealed. And they want to believe the spin Jack Ashcroft is saying about upholding the laws? Yeah right. I betcha they have some Florida swamp to sell us too.
